About Me

I'm an outdoors kinda girl! But first I would like to say that I don't look, act or feel my age!!! I love to go camping, kayaking, hiking, biking and all kinds of other adventures. I like taking in different events and festivals in the area. I like to go on wine tastings and tours too. I listen to all kinds of music and like checking out the local bands and do some dancing. I also like motorcycles and riding on a beautiful sunny day anywhere! I am looking to find someone who likes the same things I do and wants to have some adventures!!! Now that fall is here, it would be nice to check out the foliage and go apple picking.A good movie, bottle of wine and a guy who likes to cuddle would be great! :) I'm comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt but also like to put on my little black dress and go out on the town. Please leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Always make it a Great Day! :) Anyplace where we could talk and have a nice conversation. I would like to get to know the person across from me and not feel uncomfortable.

Woman. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.

Looking for: man. In age: 52-62

Hello again. I'm not that good at talking about myself. I'm a old school. I had several hobbies that I wish I could do again but due to a car accident I'm left with a bad left hip & lower back problems. I have a passion for motorcycles love to ride. I wish I could find a man who rides (Not a Biker) Just a man who has a passion for riding. I like to go fishing & boating. I'm trying to get my weight down to where it should be. So I'm joining the YMCA. Maybe I'll meet my Knight in shining armor there. I'm shy at 1st but if we engage in good conversation I warm up quickly. I'm a grandmother & I enjoy my grandkids very much. My family is very important to me. I'm a honest, sincere, caring, loving, non cheater, try to be chaos free. Well if you're interested in getting to know me send me a message let's talk. Looking for a best friend , a soul mate , honest , and trustworthy .Must be level headed , and please no bar freaks! Meet for coffee or a soda pop. If we feel comfortable & want to get together again then we'll go from there.

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 48-58

Update ***Ive met someone. I can't hide my profile without upgrading. Good luck on your search. I love to laugh. Enjoy listening to country and southern rock music.(No rap) I enjoy listening to people sing karaoke (or try too). I would love to travel someday. Enjoy riding through the country and taken pictures of old barns and trees that stand all alone in a pasture. Enjoy meeting new people and being around happy people. I like to make everybody feel welcomed. I go with the flow, when I'm with friends I go along with whatever everybody would like to do. I'm not a material girl. I like wild flowers, they mean alot more because the person took the time to pick them for me. Like sitting on the porch and talking or going out on the town. Im a southern girl if you couldn't already tell. lol I believe you should be friends first and if it leads to a relationship thats great. Then maybe marriage :-) Ive never been married or had children wanted both it just didnt happen. Maybe one day I will find my love or along the way I will have met some good friends. The first meeting would be somewhere in a public place to get to know one another

I subscribe to a "Think deeply, speak gently, love much, laugh a lot, word hard, give freely and be kind" way of living, where integrity, honesty, trust, laughter and kindness frame my picture of love, life, levity, and everything that is boldly colored in between. I believe that "coloring outside the lines" promotes greater self-discovery and risk, both of which are extremely important and yes, attractive, sexy and desirable, to me as a writer, educator and most importantly, a parent. When we restrict ourselves to a neatly designed and prescribed, flawless template of how we're supposed to look and behave, we inevitably are not being our authentic selves. For me, to embark on a relationship not being who we are is inevitably destined to fail because in the end, it's based on pretense and falsehood***not the ideal foundation for a loving, lasting relationship. My mission as a special educator is to individualize *** broken and bitter high school kids who have been through serious and often, life threatening traumas in their lives, where school took a back burner to just making it through the day. Our mission as loving and caring educators is to restore their faith in "man/womankind," and convince them how much they matter~~ despite their belief to the contrary~~ to themselves, and the people in their lives who love them. When I'm not trying to make the lives of these kids better, I love to hike, power walk, play with my dogs for hours, blog, read, and sip ridiculously good coffee with ridiculously awesome people. I find intellect extremely attractive .I also believe that you can tell whether a relationship is going to work with one kiss. So much can be said in that one kiss..... I have no set script for a first date other than it happens after some thoughtful, meaningful, and yes, flirtatious conversations, via phone, text, etc., that creates a very welcome flurry of butterflies in my stomach that lets me know that we won't be checking our watches every four minutes once we take the plunge and meet. Outdoor cafes; out-of-the-way coffee shops that at least 'offers' Fair Trade coffee with their other selections; independent book stores; beautiful parks conducive for walking and talking; and if all of that feels right, an "evening" date at a candle-lit pub or wine bar that offers tasty crudites and atmosphere.
