First and foremost, I love to laugh. I have a sense of humor and very much enjoy people who do as well, or at least know how to laugh at themselves and life in general, otherwise it would all be overwhelming at times. I can take care of myself, but would enjoy sharing lots of my life with someone who got me. I am easy going and fun loving and enjoy meeting people, I work hard, and love my job, but I enjoy playing even more. While I love to be outdoors, especially near or in water, I am not a health/exercise nut, maybe someday, but not today. I love watching movies, reading a good book, which is often my escape from reality, going out, dancing, and getting together with friends old and new, playing games and just enjoying the company of others.I'd love to meet a guy that is secure in who he is, "know thyself" and not looking for a mother, but ***, a friend, a lover, a partner, to not just spend time with but who enhances the time spent together; a person that knows what they want, has goals, not a project himself, nor do I want be someone else's project to be changed, I'd rather grow together. A first date in my opinion, needs to have enough space to be able to actually talk and get to know each other, while at the same time doing something that can enhance conversation without hindering it. Maybe going for a picnic at a great place, or an evening that included a meal or a quaint pub where you could still talk without the music being overpowering.

I like all kinds of music except rap..I enjoy getting out for a hike in one of central New Yorks finest parks. In the winter I like to ski.. I have two sons***and ***. I also have two dogs. I had a cat but she recently passed away...I truly dislike shallow people....maybe I am expecting too much but I would like to be in a monogamous relationship..I will not be just a "booty call". So I asked my son where I should go to meet nice guys. If it is personality you want then I am the one for you :) ..what i am looking for in a guy...hummm i want a man that is employed or retired but can financially support himself..no felons or ex felons...no abusers..i prefer he has teeth lol....he MUST have a sense of humor. am i too picky? :) i KNOW there is someone out there for me..tho i was thinking maybe i would get more responses from men in their 90's lol....would love to find someone to spend my spare time with...right now it is only me and the dogs ...i love the dogs but its real hard time having a conversation with them lol..yet another holiday season alone....that makes about 3 yrs but whos counting..overtime at work as slowed down a bit so more free time for me ..just trying to find MY mr right...not too successful yet tho :(..where is everyone....enjoying my vacation so far..have a good day allhere is my favorite movie quote...."
