Hello there, thank you for reading my profile. I am a native Tucsonan and have taught for 31 years. I love teaching children, it is always different and keeps me active and busy!! When I turned 50 I gave myself the gift of quitting smoking. I'm very independant, more likely to tackle a difficult job myself, rather than ask for help. I would accept (and appreciate!!!) help if offered but it is difficult for me to ask. I enjoy many things outside of my work which include travling, camping, anything outdoors,swimming, museums, dining out, theatre... I like to try new things..All of this more fun with a partner/friend/companion. That is what I wish to find. I enjoy most music except rap, heavy metal and angry music. I enjoy listening to live music and dancing. I love the old musicals and occasionally watch one in my collection.My faith is very important to me and is a part of my daily life. I recently read this--"expect the best and cooperate with it's unfoldment"== What do you think about that??I am a proud Breast Cancer Survivor...healthy and cancer free... also breast free...just so you know. Now partial retirement...teaching part time.YEA!!! On a first date I would like to meet maybe at the zoo or for coffee, someplace we could talk and get to know if we want a second date. I am sure you will have some clever ideas of where to meet on a first date!!

    It feels some what strange to be in the dating world at this stage of my life..I am a mom of 2 beautiful amazing young women.. they are my heart and soul, and I am proud of the young ladies that they have become.My job is a large part of my life, and I don't work the normal 9 to 5 hours.. I put in long 12 hour "days" (I work night shift) my job can be very emotional at times, I work on a post surgical cancer floor, we are taught to not get emotionally involved, but that isnt always the case in reality, when you love your job.I love music.. and my music tastes are so wide and varied..although I'm not a huge fan of rap...I love animals, my current lil guy is my adopted Shih tzu / Affen Pincher mix ... it was love at first sight.I am looking for my forever and a day..
