I'm working as a server/bartender to pay the bills in the meantime, but all that keeps me pretty busy so a friend got me on this site!A little about myself: - I want to work with PTSD in the military population, hopefully in the field of clinical neuropsychology. I tend to gravitate towards people who don't take themselves too seriously and can make me laugh. I just feel life's too short, you've got to be able to laugh at yourself!If you recognize the phrases "these pretzels are making me thirsty," "Is your cat making too much noise?," or "there's always money in the banana stand, " we probably have the same sense of humorOH! and my friends think that my 'ideal' man would be a fratty, hipster, lumberjack (or "frasterjack"). I don't really know what that would look like, but if you exist, I'd love to meet you! I just moved back to MN after 6 years away, and I don't know anyone! So, I figured I would give this a try. A little about me, I am a mama to an awesome baby girl, I'm very laid back and low maintenance (at least I think so). I have a degree in Global Studies, but I work as an auto tech. In the next couple years I'd like to get ASE certification, as well as a certification to teach yoga. I have lots of interests! I like to think that I'm fairly open-minded about other political views, however, I have pretty liberal views and I can definitely argue. If that doesn't sit well with you, don't *** play a bit of guitar and violin (not fiddle, but that's another goal for another time), my background makes me a bit of a classical music nerd but I also love bluegrass and I have a serious weakness for country. I'm looking for someone who loves kids (if you have kids as well that's perfectly alright!), is honest, and is happy either just hanging around in the park or going on a crazy adventure. I like the standard coffee or beer meet-up, but I also like surprises, so anything goes. I'm a vegetarian, so please don't take me out to a nice steak dinner, unless the place does exceptionally delicious salads.
