Let me just start by saying the following:I am in no way, shape, or form country. I admit, I am shy at first and cautious about what I say. However, once you get to know me you will find that I am really silly and you may wish I was shy again...haha. I am very optimistic about finding someone, even though my heart has been broken before, which is one thing I truly love about myself.Also, I am a huge sports fan...I love college football, college basketball, and the NBA. I would rather be at a sports bar, drinking beer with the guys and watching the game. I wouldn't consider myself high maintenance -- I could be ready in 45 minutes, including a shower. But, like most women, I love to shop -- purses are my weakness.In a man: I prefer a tall, dark, and handsome man with a great smile and sense of humor. I want someone who can keep me guessing. A gentleman. Someone loyal and easy to talk to. Not needy. Confident, but not arrogant. Great style and sense of self. I am open to any race.Unlike many people on here, I actually will read your about me. If your grammar & spelling shows me that you are incompetent, I won't even bother looking at your pictures. The English language is supposedly the most difficult, but if you were born and raised in an English speaking country I expect you to have enough intelligence to form complete sentences. Anything fun or unique. Or we can always just go watch a sports game :)

23 year old female looking to meet some cool, down to earth people. I pretty much hate the club scene, so i figured I'd try online dating and see how it goes. The first thing most people learn about me is that I love sports (especially baseball and hockey). I've been playing hockey for 15 years and just got into softball last summer. I'm up for playing or watching pretty much anything though. I am a huge Leafs and Jays fan. I've also been known to play the occasional video game and love watching TV. My absolute favourite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer (or anything Joss Whedon related). If you're a Buffy fan then you're pretty much automatically awesome in my books! I'm a pretty sarcastic person. I just love to joke around and make people laugh, but i also have a really serious side. I'm pretty shy in new situations, but once i find my comfort zone I'm good. I'm not the most stylish or fashion savvy person (I will always choose comfort and practicability over "looking good"). I'm looking for someone who shares some of my interests, who is generally easy to get along with and talk to, and who likes me for who I am.Anything else you want to know just ask... :) My idea of a first date is pretty laid back. Anything that allows me to get to know you better is pretty much fine by me.
