I would rather be outdoors than indoors. I would rather be barefoot than wear the most expensive and beautiful pair of heels. I would classify myself as a modern day hippie. I'm used to the country life where time passes by slowly and the stars are unbelievable. I am happy to be the outcast in a small town where people are close minded, staunch republican, farmers. I guess somethings just rub off on you. I love sports and have a competitive drive. I'm an animal lover, I curse ASPCA commercials because I hate crying. I love to laugh and connect well with people who have a humorous personality to match mine. I can be a tomboy at times because I grew up around guys. I also have an artistic side, I studied theatre for awhile then realized I wasn't crazy. Music is a big part of my life. I also love to dance, do random art projects or crafts, and I have a passion for photography. I'm also somewhat of a nerd. I can never get enough of Star Wars. Almost anything, I'm not picky. Anything outdoors is most appealing.

Hi! First, I guess, thanks for taking a look. What makes me, me? Loaded question....Let's start small. I have a BA in Art History and I'm working on a career in museum registration and collections management (behind-the-scenes museum stuff). My favorite thing about my career is that I really enjoy it, but it isn't my life's passion, it isn't my whole life. I want my life to be my friends and family and hobbies. Speaking of which....I love watching movies and reading and listening to music and hanging out with my friends, going to plays or the occasional concert, eating good food. I'm kind of an indoor-kid but I like camping and what I refer to as intellectual-; scrambling over rocks where you have to plan each step does) and I used to ride horses, which I haven't done in forever and kind of miss. As I said, I love music, many kinds. I'm not into rap, hip hop, electronic, but I listen to at least some of pretty much everything else.... I'm smart but I definitely have my blonde moments. I'm pretty chill and low-maintenance but I can get intense and I am passionate about things that are important to me. I can be shy but I can also be loud and opinionated and I'm probably honest to a fault (though not to the point of being ****y, I'm pretty sensitive to other people's feelings) and I HATE playing games. Obviously these are just tid bits and there's plenty more I could say, but this already seams a bit long. If you made it to the end, thanks for reading! My ideal first date would be something very relaxed. I hate fussy first dates where you spend the entire time trying to impress your date. It seems like the worst possible circumstance for getting to know someone which, after all, is the point of a date. Plus there's always the awkwardness of who pays, because if you (the man) do pay you run the risk of offendng a modern girl and if you (the man) don't pay you run the risk of offending an old-fashioned girl. (Personally, I definitely don't expect a guy to pay for everything for the entirety of our relationship, but I do appreciate a guy who would like to be able to take care of me a little, so at least in the beginning I think it's nice if the guy pays.) My preference would be for something fun and casual - going to a park (preferably with a nice swingset) and getting some frozen yogurt, going to a drive-in movie (maybe with a bottle of wine) so I can talk a little and not feel bad, going to the zoo or a museum....something along those lines. High heels and sexy dresses are for down the line when I want to give you a show. For me the first date should be about jeans and a cute top (or whatever the male equivalent is) and finding out if we're compatible enough for a second date. It should be more like hanging out than about putting on a performance. In my opinion.
