About Me

I'm currently going to school full-time and working part-time. I graduated in the Spring of '13 with two B.A. degrees, one in English and the other in Exercise and Sports Science. Right now I am working on my single-subject teaching credential. After that, I still want to get my Master's degree, either in English or Psychology. I am very self-motivated and disciplined. I have a type-A personality and tend to be a little too perfectionistic for my own good. I am pretty hard on myself, but I love people who are easy going and love life, because they tend to help balance me out and help me to have a more realistic view of myself and of life. I'm shy when I am first getting to know someone, but if I become comfortable enough with you, all my shyness melts away. I love to read and, I also journal in my spare time. I also love music! It's the soundtrack to life. I am mostly a rock girl, but I also like rap, and I there are quite a few songs from a variety of genres that I enjoy. I love to work out and I go running almost every day. Exercise is therapeutic for me, and I love to push myself to new limits. Ultimately, I just want to finish school, find a good job, and enjoy life. I think coffee makes for a really good first date. Or if coffee is too boring, then maybe getting coffee and going for a walk in the park. First dates are supposed to be easy and low key. It's a time to get a feel for one another and see if you are compatible or interested in continuing the relationship. Coffee gives you both an easy out if the date isn't going so well or the two of you just aren't clicking, but it also allows for hours of good conversation and the opportunity to become more connected if the date is going in that direction.

    ..I hate it when someone asks what my "passion" is in life. Only because I'm young and I haven't found "it" yet. . I guess that means my passion, so to speak, is just life. Living! day to day...Which brings me to add, I assure you, I may be the OLDEST young person you know. I generally can't relate or deal with a lot of people who just act immature or only party. It's not my style. I've had my share of those days and I'm beyond that. Music is something I really enjoy and I have no favorite, not a true one anyways. Depends upon the day you ask me..I love to laugh and make others laugh..its good for the soul. I'm a total foodie..and I enjoy cooking. I grew up sheltered, so there's a ton I either haven't done or can't do..I've learned to embrace not being able to swim..IT'S HARD TO LEARN AS AN ADULT!! Haha.. I get in the pool though. .and I'm down for most anything. I think I'm quite funny, a jokester of sorts, most days.. We can't take everything too seriously..otherwise we will all walk around being rigid jerks!Also, please don't message me if you cannot spell/know the difference in your/you're, too/two/to..My pet peeve and it drives me insane!! I would like to just, have good conversation and hang out..meet some new folks. . and most importantly..SMILE. Because who doesn't love smiling? Eh... Surprise me.
