About Me

lets see, well to start I'm a big music person It's like my life, I can't go a day with out it. I love to spend my free time with friends normally seeing movies, playing pool, going out to hookah bars or regular bars on occassion, or just hanging arounupd the house sharing laughs. I'm currently attending college and finishing my degree in teaching. I hope to one day teach at an all deaf school. I'm very outgoing, can be shy at first when first meeting people but I open up pretty quickly. My friends say I'm the entertainer of the group, always using my quick witts and sarcasm to creat laughter. I love to cook (when theres actually food in my house to do so), I just bought a guitar and slowly learning to play when I have days off. I like to write and I'll read occasionally when theres a good book around.One of the Big things you should know about me is that I'm a cancer survivor. My cancer is a huge part of who I am, it forced me to grow up quickly. I got diagnosed my senior year of high school and havent been the same since. I had papillary Thyroid Cancer, had two surgeries in '08 to remove the cancer, and two radiation treatments as well and have been recovering ever since. Now adays I'm pretty heathly and besides being on pills for life, and a minor scar on my throat, you wouldn't even know anything was ever wrong with me.As you can tell by my pictures I used to have very long hair and now its quite the opposite. My 8 year old nephew has lukemia and so most of my family shaved our heads for him back in march. so for those of you who are wondering, yes i have very short hair. Im growing it back out now but obviously that takes time. I'm a pretty open book so if your interested message me and we'll take it from there. :) Surprise me,Im up for anything whether it's a simple dinner and a movie or a night out on the town, or something unique and creative.

    Hmmm... So I'm not the best at writing about myself.. But I'm gonna have a go at it!
