About Me

As a writer who mainly writes about others it is a very different experience to write about myself. (I also should be so much better at writing an interesting headline.) So I am going to wing it. Bear with me. As a coastal girl who has lived in the Carolinas since ***, I love a visit to the beach or just any body of water. Being near the water, just knowing it is there always keeps me calm. Many an afternoon has been spent driving to the beach, tunes cranked up and my two dogs in the backseat hanging their heads out the window. I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. I try to find a balance between enjoying my downtime, whether it be sitting on the porch, watching a movie, reading the paper or spending time by the fire pit, and going out with friends and striking out on an adventure. I've worked in the communications field since ***, starting with internships in college. Currently I'm tackling writing, editing and communication gigs, as well as working with an event company. I love the challenge of new experiences. I'm a laidback girl who loves to laugh. I believe time is of the essence and that it's better to try to focus on the positive then to let the funkiness of the world drag you down.) I can't help but sing along to music if I know it, whether it be in the car, my kitchen, the shower or the aisle of a grocery store. As far as my taste in music is concerned I'm all over the board. I enjoy a wide variety of music and am up to giving a listen to artists I haven't heard of. Other than that, just ask!

    These things are always so awkward. Having to reduce yourself to an "about me" paragraph. I love to be goofy and making people laugh is my favorite thing to do.     I am a really laid back person and I love movie! I like to sit inside and rent movies or go out to a theater and I'm pretty much up for anything. I like to have fun and joke around.
