As a writer who mainly writes about others it is a very different experience to write about myself. (I also should be so much better at writing an interesting headline.) So I am going to wing it. Bear with me. As a coastal girl who has lived in the Carolinas since ***, I love a visit to the beach or just any body of water. Being near the water, just knowing it is there always keeps me calm. Many an afternoon has been spent driving to the beach, tunes cranked up and my two dogs in the backseat hanging their heads out the window. I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. I try to find a balance between enjoying my downtime, whether it be sitting on the porch, watching a movie, reading the paper or spending time by the fire pit, and going out with friends and striking out on an adventure. I've worked in the communications field since ***, starting with internships in college. Currently I'm tackling writing, editing and communication gigs, as well as working with an event company.
