First thing's first: I love laughing and surround myself with people who are the same way. If you can make me laugh (and I can get a few laughs out of you here and there), we'll get along just fine! It's basically a long, fancy description for someone who works behind the scenes in the hospital lab running blood tests, matching blood/organs for transplants, identifying cancer cells, etc. It's all fascinating to me, so I guess that makes me a huge nerd. I eventually want to specialize in microbiology and work my way up from there. I just started my clinical rotations at UIC's lab, and it's been great to finally put all of that memorizing and textbook-reading to real-life use!If you like to laugh, have an awesome sense of humor, enjoy the outdoors, and have passion for whatever it is you do in life, who knows? Whether it be mini golf, bowling, visiting a museum, wandering down Navy Pier, or taking a walk through the botanic gardens, they beat out a stuffy candle-lit dinner any day. It's activities like that, having stripped away the fancy food and venues, that really allow you to get to know the real person you're with.

I believe the style of that decade was classy and impeccable. I enjoy listening to music from the 50's through the 90's. I like to sing, but absolutely couldn't make a career out of it. I could probably continue on and on about my interests, preferences, likes, dislikes, but then there'd be no mystery anymore and that seems awfully boring! I don't know that I have an ideal first date scenario because really it depends on the person and the day and so many other things that really it isn't fair to try to paint a picture of what perfect looks like. I like going out to dinner so I'll say that.
