Here's just a little bit about me:I'm a fun-loving, spontaneous, educated and athletic woman, and I'm looking for similar qualities in my future mate. I love to laugh and be around people who are good-natured and have a positive outlook on life. I love to sing, dance, and be just plain silly sometimes. However, I also know when to be serious. I believe there is a time and place for everything, and I try my best to be appropriate for the curcumstance. I am strong in my Christian faith and would like my counterparts to share similar beliefs.S. in Elementary Education in December ***, and I threw the hammer, weighted throw, and discus in Track and Field at the collegiate level. I am currently working towards my Master's degree in Education and my certification for teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) at UMKC. I teach 4th through 6th grade Communication Arts in small groups to students who are struggling in the classroom. I am also a Volleyball coach in the fall, and will be a Track and Field coach in the spring. My school is a Title I school if that means anything to you, but I love my job and my coworkers! However, I am working towards teaching abroad in Central or South America for a while. I speak enough Spanish to get me into trouble, but I'm working every day to increase my fluency. This is helpful since about 97% of the student population at my school is Hispanic and speak English as their second language.I absolutely love to travel and I enjoy many different types of music. Depending on my mood, I enjoy pop music, country, rap/hip hop, and hard rock especially when I'm lifting. I also a big fan of 90's music and I love holiday music! Sometimes I even sing Christmas carols in July! (Don't you dare judge me!) I'm just curious about this site and looking for a good guy who's educated, hard-working, taller than I am, and has a good sense of humor. I am not one of those girls who needs a man to feel complete. I'm perfectly content on my own and able to provide for myself, but I would love a relationship if I feel the timing and man is right for me. Feel free to shoot me a message sometime! Honestly, I try not to be very picky about a first date. I'm happy to give my input when asked, but I feel as though planning the first date is the man's role and I wouldn't want to take that away. Just as long as I can hear enough to converse effectively, and we don't go somewhere super sketchy where I feel as though I could potentially be in danger, I'll be just fine. Lol For a first date, I'd like to go and do something memorable (preferably in a positive way) but please don't feel as though we need to spend a whole week's pay! That's just dumb and impractical. Times is tough man, and ain't nobody got time for that! ;)

I love to read, watch movies (the more film festivals it's been in the better), Doctor Who, beer (i love to try it all. I imagine that's what rust would taste like), collecting art (festivals are fun!) and learning how to cook (I make a pretty wicked pulled pork.) I enjoy spending time with my friends but at the end of the day all I want is peace and quite. Musically, I love country, singer/songwriter, oldies, Top 40 and classic rock.Indian and sushi are some of my favorite foods but all things Italian are pretty awesome too.Hockey, is the best. I'm sweet, a little crazy at times. Also I'm a smarta**! I enjoy being sarcastic with and about people and things. :) Hmm, I love to cook, I love cooking for people and seeing what I can do with my culinary skills. I love to try new food's. Like Chinese, Italian, Mexican, I haven't tried Asian yet. I am also a "big" girl and I am pleasantly pleased with my body. I have no intentions of changing for anyone. But I'm also in the process of working off some of my weight, so I can reach my goal, so don't worry. :) So if there's a picky person reading this you should stop now! I love to hunt (although I never actually killed anything) but my goal is to kill Bambi and a turkey one day. I love to fish. I love reading. I love romance novels! I like a little mystery and suspense as well. I own my own car. It's an '08 HHR. I am a christian. I try to put God first, sometimes it doesn't happen as I'd like it to. I go to church, and I love singing in the choir. It's beautiful. I like to be outdoors (although sometimes during the summer you wont see me outside much, the heat is crazy hot) lol. I love to travel. It would be amazing to see the castles where dukes and queens lived. And all that open space of beautiful scenery would be amazing as well. I was previously engaged, and one day he woke up and told me he didn't love me anymore. (If your wandering if there's still something there, I can assure you I'm well over the ordeal.) So after that I thought I'd see how this dating thing went. :d I'm looking for a guy who is a good honest working man. A guy who opens doors, and who doesn't have a problem with the girl sharing the bill every once in a while. :D (My momma taught me to share). A guy who has a great personality, someone a little taller than me, I love to look up into his eyes. A guy who wont be ashamed or embarrassed to be seen with me. Hmm, some of my goals in life are to own my own house, have an amazing job I love. To start a youth program at my church. Some of the music I like is country, gospel, rap etc. Um, also I'm NOT here for sex! So if thats what you want, you can get lost! So, thinks that's all I can come up with. If there's anything else you'd like to know, just *** and ask me. My idea of a first date would either dinner in a movie or just dinner. You can learn alot about someone through dinner but not thru a movie. Maybe a walk on the beach, or just hanging out and talking.
