Woman. 24 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: man. In age: 21-31
I like to draw(good at), play sports and listening to various kinds of music, especially alternative rock, house, blues and metal. I enjoy reading classic novels, newspapers, political magazines and just reading in general. I like writing fictional stories as well. I enjoy traveling, and I would love to travel around the world. I'm an open-minded person, and I am willing to try new things. I'm also independent, creative, individualistic, intelligent, and easy going . I'm an introvert, and I can be quiet at first. But once you get to know me, I become more outgoing. I'm looking for a guy who is going to college, has graduated from college, or has a decent paying job that he is passionate about and enjoys doing. I am a recent college grad with a psychology degree. I plan on going to graduate school or a training school for occupatonal therapy or to be a dental hygienist. As of right now, I'm thinking about working for a human resource job or some other job that is somewhat related to my degree and to enjoy life. Please, don't message me if you're looking for a one night stand. I'm not that kind of girl. I like a guy who is intelligent, creative, respects women, likes various kinds of music, knows how to treat a woman, ambitious, kind, independent, individualistic, sophisticated, down to earth, not needy, not controlling, likes sports, has appreciation for the arts, is not afraid to show his feminine side once in a while, is a little bit gregarious, a little bit quiet and is attractive. I know it's unrealistic for someone to have all of these but having most of these qualities would be nice.I'm an abstract thinker who likes to think outside the box. I like to think beyond what school has taught me. I'm more self-directed and have learned more on my own without always the guidance of a structured *** to look at all of the possiblities of ideas. Black and white thinking is too limiting. I have learned through experience that stereotypes of people and things are not always true. I think it's just a way of separating people into categories and labeling them without getting to know them first. I like to think before I act. I judge a person's character rather than their exterior, but we all know looks and what a person wears are important to a certain extent. I'm not going to lie about that.I'm more insightful about my outlook on life. It has helped me understand things better and has given more clarity of things around me through my observations. I'm not into organized religions, but I believe there is something out there watching over us. I'm not too girly, and I'm not too tomboyish. I believe balance and moderation are both keys to a happy life. I am strong-willed, and I will stand up for myself when needed. I am not a push over. Education and having a decent work ethic are essential in today's economy if you want to make it anywhere. I'm not an overachiever, but I'm not a slacker either. I was once a perfectionist who has learned the hard way that it is not achievable and will only lead to disappointment, unhappiness, and it deteriorates your physical, emotional, and mental health. I also have a preference for slim, slender, or toned built guys. I think it's important to find someone who you're compatible with(start out as friends, similar interests, similar personality, etc.) and someone who can complement me(someone a little more outgoing than me, teach me things I don't know, etc.).I would love to travel to more places and see what's out there. I enjoy cuddling and being indoors too. I also give good back massages. It's my expertise.I'm also a sucker for guys who play guitar. That's enough about me, tell me about you. :) I think going to a coffee joint is a good place for a first date to get to know each other. It's what I prefer, but I'm open to other suggestions too.

Woman. 25 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 22-32
I recently became a store manager at a local business and I've been adjusting to that schedule (in correlation with my free time). Up until this week I've been playing on a pick up kickball team (we might still attempt a few cold weather games). I joined a soccer league this fall (I haven't played on a team since 3rd grade)-I'm deeply in love with nature and hiking. Conversely, I love the city and how full of life it is. I love having so many places to dance the night away. I also love karaoke.I've been thinking about going back to school since I struggled to find jobs after college. I enjoy working with students and have considered becoming a para for special ed students or a special education teacher. I also love writing and have considered going back for a masters in creative writing (I started writing a book almost a year ago, but I have greatly neglected it).[]). But for now, I'm enjoying the experience of working for local retail (and managing a store--freedom from micromanagement! [for the most part]).I am goofy and sarcastic; I lovingly tease friends and family. I would hate to be labelled "normal" (Ce n'existe pas- my French is pretty rusty). I shift between being outgoing and confident & quiet and observant depending on my mood and the people I'm with. I love people watching. I am generally a night owl and I suck at mornings (but I tend to fall asleep around 8 o'clock in the winter if I'm not out and about [naps are awesome]).As far as movies, tv, music, books, etc goes, I have a wide interest in things. Sci-Fi, fantasy, adventure, historical fiction, documentaries/memoirs, comedy, drama, the list goes on. I have also collected CDs since I was in 1st or 2nd grade, so I have roughly ***CDs of a wide variety of genres. Folk music tops the list; I also enjoy the positive hip hop scene (Dessa, the rest of Doomtree, etc). First dates are an interesting beast. I think low key, casual, low pressure scenarios are best. Meeting up for a drink, coffee, board games, outdoor adventures are all good ways to gauge someone's personality and the chemistry. (My drinks of choice are generally red wine and hard cider-- although I'm a little picky on the flavors and brands I like.) Karaoke is also always a good option.
