Wow, I really never ever expected to be back on here. Never say never I guess. I'm not the type to date someone to just pass the time or just until someone better comes along - I'm in it for the long run. Unfortunately it takes time to find that right person... What's that saying? "When one door closes another one opens" (fingers crossed). I have a great life. Just looking for someone to share it with. I am a very outgoing (and at times adventurous) person who leads a very healthy and active lifestyle (chocolate is healthy isn't it)? However, I also know when to kick back and relax by the fireplace listening to music or to have a romantic weekend just cuddling and watching movies. I like to have fun and enjoy life and not take things (or myself) too seriously. I always like to have things to look forward to - whether it's the next "Wing Night" or next year's vacation plans (however, spontaneity is a wonderful thing as well). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and I love to travel. I am an extremely thoughtful, considerate and loyal person (often referred to as a "sweetheart"***and I'd like to meet the same. I am the type of person that says what I'm going to do and follows through by doing what I say (and I expect the same of others). This is a huge pet-peeve of mine. Is it so hard to keep your word? I am not a religious person but I whole-heartedly believe "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (and I can honestly say I live my life by that). And I believe in Karma for those who don't ;-p My “ideal” guy would:• NOT have a self-portrait cell phone pic on his profile posing in a public washroom with a urinal in the background. lol My gawd is that cheesy! Don't you have any candid shots of yourself that friends may have taken? And if you've got a shirtless picture of yourself that's not a picture taken from your last beach vacation - you're probably not my type of guy. • have integrity, be honest, attractive (in my eyes and not just those of your Mother's), reliable/considerate, active, outgoing, confident (but not full-of-himself –• be able to make me laugh until I have tears running down my face • be fit (wow there sure seems to be several different interpretations for the word "fit"). Fit to me doesn't mean fit enough to go from the couch to the fridge for another snack! And watching sports on tv doesn't really count as participation. (lol) I definitely have a thing for nice abs! However, steroid-gronks need not apply.• love hockey (or at least be willing to watch Oilers' games with me - even if you feel the need to cheer for the opposing team).• be a Non-Smoker (this does not mean “I only smoke when I’m drinking" or "when I'm at the bar”). And if you "only" smoke weed, I'm really not interested.• be financially stable (not a drug-dealer or an E.I. recipient (this does not apply to apprentices)) • love music (I pretty much like anything except thrash metal). For every relationship that hasn't worked out I am thankful to have been introduced to some great music I may have never discovered otherwise. • love (like) to dance or at least be willing to take dance lessons with me?• play guitar (and hopefully teach me!)• be hardworking (but not a workaholic). If the only thing important to you is making more & more money and you forget to live life in the meantime, I'm not your girl. The best things in life are free.• be taller than me and out-weigh me• not have a problem with the number of male friends that I have. I've always been a bit of a tomboy -- don't worry I dress up well) and my workplace is pretty much male-dominated so I've always hung out with guys - they're my wing-men ; ) Plus I've made some really good friends through all of these silly dating sites (so some good things have come out of them)! • be able to spell (or at least be able to use "Spell Check"). It cracks me up when I read “I love quading, tatoos and (my favourite***dinning out”! If you love all of those things – at least learn how to spell them! lmao• own his own place (and not live with Mom & Dad) • I've done the commuting thing (stupidly TWICE) and it's never panned out for me after all that effort (just put a whole lotta mileage on my car)... Now if YOU'RE willing to move here in order to be with ME, well then that's a whole different story! ; )• not snore• have a great sense of humour/wit - this is an absolute must - or it just ain’t gonna work out with me! (Can you tell I love sarcasm?)• be close to his family & have lots of good friends (in other words you're not a loner, or the travelling- If you've got psychotic ex's and disfunctional kids please stay far away - I'm not looking to complicate my life.• not be covered from head-to-toe in tattoos and piercings (just not my thing). Hey, if you have a couple of tattoos that have some special meaning for you great – but REALLY, you don't need to send me a picture of them! For the guy with the "; logo tattooed on the back of his head... Honestly, how could I ever bring you home to meet my Dad?! • love to travel - whether it be an all-inclusive vacation or better yet - let's carry our luggage on our backs for some adventure travelling (the best way to see the world in my opinion)!• not have any problems obtaining a passport or a travel visa!! (I can't believe I actually had to add this line in - but I guess I didn't specify "no criminals please")! And "I just serve time on the weekends" is STILL serving time!! lmaoIf you don't like my profile then you won't like me. Geez - some people REALLY need to lighten up (haven't you ever heard of the saying "tongue-in-cheek")? However - IF you're still with me after reading through all of this ; ) (and I haven't offended you any way, shape or form), send me an e-mail and we'll see where it goes from there. If I do not respond to your message then you're just not what I am looking for (sorry). First date, hmmm, after quite a few e-mails back and forth (and a full background check) lol, we could maybe meet for a coffee or meet at a pub for a drink after work to chat and get to know each other better. If all goes well and there's a connection and chemistry (and lots of laughs), we'll figure out the next step from there.

!?! GO RIDERS GO!! Yup ... gotta love them RIDERS! :) Ok - this may not be the 'Year'! lol I enjoy watching junior hockey and baseball, but my favorite sport - oh yes - curling! I am an avid curler! My other favorite sport - baseball - GO CUBBIES GO! THEY WILL GO ALL THE WAY - THIS IS THE YEAR!(Ok - Next year!! ?!?!) I am getting used to saying that! I am looking for someone who is honest, trustworthy, and is respectful of 'all' people, and by all - I mean all makes, sizes, and color. I try to treat others how I want to be treated. I believe in order for any relationship to work - friendship must be attained (other than lust ... lol ... of course) ... anyhows .... starting out chatting would be fine and see where life takes us - you can never have 'too' many friends - right?!?!?!!!!! I will be honest with you - In my 'younger days' I used to be somewhat athletic, I am kind of a slacker now. I know - I know! lol I am no 'Miss America' by any means!!! - but I have been told I do clean up quite nicely! If you are looking for someone who is petite and a follower - then I am definately 'not' who you are looking for! I want to meet someone who - like me - wants to get a life! Something to do other than going to work and then go home!?!?!- anyone up for bowling??? darts? pool? golf? mini golf? a game of cards? I enjoy country dancing - however I am not the greatest dancer! lol ... I like all kinds of music - not rap! I grew up listening to the 50's and 60's (parents fav music) lol - but still a youngin' when listening to Poison, Bon Jovi and AC/DC lol .... You know - anything can be fun if u are with someone you want to spend time with!!! (friendship or otherwise) I am not a bar person - been there and done that - don't get me wrong - I enjoy the odd paralyzer or ceasar.Truthfully, it has been quite some time for me - I tend to always choose work over 'going out'! (I know, and I wonder why I don't have a life???) I have to chuckle to myself - my friends say 'u need to get out more', but you know - it is no fun going out and doing things alone or being the third wheel ... I hope I don't sound bitter because I am not, but I think it is time I do 'take the plunge and get out there'! lol Don't be shy! Drop me a 'hello' and I will say it back! Also ... I am an independent person - that may be a good thing - may be a bad thing! lol I have worked hard for what I have in life and to be honest, it would be hard to give up that independance, but for the right person - I just may! lol lol I have not had alot of 'luck' on this website - lol - I was asked to be 'roommates' after a meeting at Timmies as well as being asked for a loan so he could get 'food'!?!?! lol YIKES! ... so if you are expecting a 'relationship' after the first or second meeting and making plans for the future - sorry - but that won't happen - at least on my end - just being honest. lol oh ... Love at first sight - not sure if I believe that?!?!?!?!? lol maybe, just maybe that someone, maybe you, can change my mind! Am I normal? lol what is normal?!?! lol Are we going to do coffee? - well - I won't ask for anything other than having a nice conversation! lol You know the saying - 'opposites attract' ... lol ... being opposites can be a good thing! lol ... oh ya - don't judge a book by its cover ***lol Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.I don't wish to be everything to everyone, but I would like to be something to someone.“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow” – Mary Anne Radmacherok - bye! lol Something simple - perhaps coffee - that way a little easier getting to know each other ... Up for almost anything - yup - I said almost! lol Bungee jumping isn't my cup of tea! lol But I do like tea! lol
