***Hi! I'm 40, separated and the mom of an awesome 20 year old. It's time to get out and meet new people and enjoy life. Currently looking to date but it would be nice to meet "the one" (if there is such a thing). (I know I'm technically married but I've been separated since ***.)The decision to try dating was not an easy one to reach but it's time to move on.I am honest to a fault but will try my best to not hurt someone. I understand being hurt to the core and try the "if you can't say anything nice" approach-I may not always succeed but I do try. I strongly dislike mean and dishonest people and have tried very hard to raise my daughter to be the same.As to what I like to do-I have spent the past several years working 2 jobs and haven't gotten out much so that area is open and I'm ready to expand my horizons. I've never been into the club scene and prefer more quiet activities but I'm willing to try new things. I'm not known for being adventurous but have found myself lately wanting to do things that I never would have before. I love to cook and would like someone that appreciates good food. With just my daughter and I we tend to do the same thing over and over and rarely experiment.To clarify the children aspect, although I love kids I can no longer have children of my own. I hope this doesn't deter anyone from contacting me as there are always other options. We will decide together...something simple.
