Hello-thanks for stopping by! :o)A little about me: I am a very caring, giving and loving person! I am passionate, deep and kind! I have respect, patience (most of the time) and tolerance! I am a little reserved, old-fashioned and cautious! Sometimes though, I can be pretty care-free, I will dive into the unknown and take risks-I will put myself out there and take that leap now and again, even though it may be against my beliefs-sometimes you just have to do that, even though it may not work in your favor, and you might get hurt because of it! Nothing worth having comes easy, my father told me more than once, and that beauty must exist from within, before it glows on the outside! I so get that now! :O) Love this time of year-leaves are changing into beautiful colors-almost like artwork...I can turn the oven on without feeling guilty; I really enjoy baking-a brisk walk is nice when you don't have to sweat from the heat or if you suffer from allergies...and it just prepares you for the winter freeze; hibernation time-ha! I like to think we are just being "preserved"-If you need chemicals in your daily life to feel "normal" or to have a good time, I am not the one for you! IF you are looking for a roll in the hay or a one-nighter, yea, that's not for me either! If you are willing to make the time, effort and build a friendship, I would really like that! :o) I can be your cheerleader, your support system, a listening ear when you need it and assist in problem-solving. I will be your best friend whom you can trust and confide in! And also the one you can have fun with, laugh with and be silly at times with! I don't mind getting dirty and playing outside either. When was the last time you jumped in a puddle, ran out in the rain or made a mud pie? :o) Ok, I'm busted-not part of my normal activities, but I do have a grand daughter who needs to know and experience some of those fun, free things that put a smile on anyone's face! I enjoy time at home playing cards with my partner, or whatever we do to share time, making a mess in the kitchen, raking leaves, having a bon-fire and sharing a story at bed time-I still enjoy being read to and it is quite a nice thing to share, even in adulthood! I try to treat others as I would like to be treated, so with that said, I will tell you I am not interested, and end the conversations between us and NOT leave you hanging. I think that is just plain rude and disrespectful. Aren't we all adults here??? Yes, I am rolling my eyes! HA!LOVE 80's hairbands and shooting video was an enjoyable hobby in my younger years. I have met alot of awesome musicians, local and National-still like to get out and hear some of my friends play, or attend jam sessions now and again. I just enjoy time with my family and friends, where ever that may join us... A favorite quote: "Trust is earned, respect is given and loyalty is demonstrated. I think I am finally courageous enough to start online dating and meet new people. I am a real Southerner so being online feels strange to me-guess you could say I'm traditional. I'm gregarious, expressive, intuitive, genuine. Total extravert but enjoy my alone time very much too. I am blessed with a large network of church, neighborhood and other good friends. I enjoy a full life and my busy, active children. I have a deep Faith. I have two beautiful, sweet, funny daughters ages 15 and 11; they inspire and challenge me daily! I'm at several sports activities of theirs weekly, and that's fun too. I hold neither all conservative or all liberal viewpoints, but some of each. I've lived, studied and traveled in several cities around the country and the world and have a huge bucket list of new things to try, places to go and dreams to accomplish. If we don't work out as a date or have the chemistry, I'm always up for an honest friendship and think we all can never have too many friends in life. No harm, no foul.I think that connection and friendship are the basis of any relationship. It really has to start there to be worth time for either of us. My children are my first priority and I have a busy job so I'm looking for lighthearted fun, activities or exercise. A walk around the lake followed by coffee would be perfect way to get to know others. If tennis is your game, I'm in. I'm always up for exploring, travel and new adventures. Like to cook and love to eat, try new things. Antiquing and thrift shops are fun and I could spend a whole day in home depot thinking about lots of fun creative projects for my home and garden. My girls and i volunteer alot around town and that's a meaningful value to pass on but have fun with too. I don't have time for tv but don't think I'm missing anything much? Mass is always a part of my weekend. I'm a home owner, stable in my job and don't need anyone to care for me financially: blessed by God in so many ways. In a contradictory way, I'm a total badass, but also very loving, nurturing, affectionate and spsiritual. Yes, sassy and sweet too. I'm looking forward to spending time with people with a good, benevolent, moral value system, their head on their shoulders *** somewhere else (!) a sense of humor and humility as well as a great laugh. Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! As my Intro line says I do have a zest for life and I'll try anything once! I would love to go on the Amazing Race just for the experience of travelling and rappelling and trying foreign cuisines. As it is I'm an avid cyclist(mountain and road) and I'm up for showing others how much fun it can be! I also enjoy running ,rollerblading,skiing,snowshoeing,hiking and camping. I like discovering other persons hobbies and learning what gets them jazzed up!My other passion is cooking. I love trying new dishes especially breakfast (my favorite meal) So I guess I'm what you call a "foodie". I would love for the person I meet to have an "live to eat" type of personality. Recently I learned how to make wine and has a blast with it! Now I hope the wine comes out all right...only time will tell! Next I'm going to try my hand at beer making.I am very lucky that I have such a great family and wonderful group of friends and I'd love for the person I meet to be apart of that as it would be an easy transition. Most of all, I would like someone I can share all parts of my life with and be my best friend. A hike would be nice or how about a visit to the comedy club who doesn't like comedy?
