I am a adventure kind of girl that loves life to the fullest. I raised 4 children and they were my world. They are all grown and life is really good for me right now. I try to ride my bike everyday. It is soooo much fun. I am a country girl that lived on a ***acre rice farm. I am the type of girl that can run a crawfish boat, drive a rice truck, kill ducks, but can also dress up really nice and go out on the town and drink wine and act just like a lady. I love to dance and go out but I also like to watch movies at home and cook a cajun kind of meal. That means rice and gravy. LOL I was married for 27 years but life happens and when our children grow up he thought he should move on and so he did. I am at a really good place right now in my life and am ready to date again. Alot has changed in dating since ***. lol My first date would be something simple so that we could talk a lot. Maybe a nice quiet afternoon cooking outside, maybe crawfish,drinking a beer just hanging out getting to know each other.

I enjoy HIKING, ***mile easy to casual to moderate hikes are fun,.Hike to a picnic destination is fun too. BICYCLE RIDES on mostly level ground are great too. (if you are an avid cyclist, maybe I can build up my interest level) I do not own a mountain bike, but if you do and would like to teach me, I am open to the idea.DANCING-I love to 2-step & Waltz, the old fashioned buckle polishing kind, not the dance school twirly stuff. I do not line dance, I prefer a partner.. I am old fashioned that way. ;-) I also like to dance to other music, make a suggestion.MUSEUMS-I like to check out new exhibits. Old towns and exploring places is fun, especially if you have someone special to explore with.COMEDY clubs/acts.I even like HOT RODS, DRAG RACES, a bit of Nascar too.Motorcycle enthusiast, not a real "Biker Woman".HORSEBACK riding is interesting, but I would need a good teacher so I could learn the correct way to ride. I loved it and wish I still had it.If you have different interests, please make suggestions, I am flexible.I have varied interests and am open to learning new things if you would like to take the time to share your interests with me.Being single can be fun, but having someone to spend some quality time with would be nice. If it turns into more, we will know.I believe that there can be great relationships of all kinds, just go into it knowing what the desired end result is......I don't have children or grandchildren, but, I do appreciate a man who is good Dad and loves his children.I am interested in expanding my cooking skills, so if you have a few kitchen favorites, show me your skills and I'll do the dishes... I enjoy helping around the house and have some good skills. Yard work can be fun too...MOVIES are not my strong point, but I am interested in relaxing at home or a quiet night out to catch a movie. Maybe even having movie nights with friends with a BBQ or potluck get together. LET'S TALK and see if we can make some plans that interest both of us.... If it goes well, we can plan a date then for a vanilla malt someplace?
