Hello, and thank you for reading my profile. I took a break from here over the summer, and am ready to give it another shot.I want to get something out there, right from the start. I am not "in shape" or thin, but not "big" either (see full body photo). I have curves. :)I'm really tired of all the guys that are so hung up on only wanting to meet women who are "in shape". If that is you, please don't even waste my time or yours. I'm a real woman, and I have real love to give the right person. We have all made mistakes/bad decisions. We will make many more. It doesn't make us bad people, just human. ;)A few things about me:*The "Does not want children" option means that I do not want to have MORE children, NOT that I don't like kids or didn't want my children. Apparently I had to explain myself. :(I purchased and moved into my home a little over a year ago, and had a new patio area put in this Spring. I really like getting to spend some days/evenings outdoors enjoying it. Maybe I can find a special someone to join me. ;)I have a 1 year old granddaughter that I spend time with when I can, since she lives out of town. I adopted a puppy last winter, as well. I have been divorced for 10 years, but not desperate to have someone in my life. However, I would like to have some companionship, other than my friends. I'm not looking to date around, but just need one man in my life. I don't need someone to take care of me, and I'm not looking for someone to take care of. I'm just looking for someone to be a companion/partner, and enjoy our time together whether we are out somewhere, home relaxing, or whatever it may be. I am open to a long distance type of relationship, within reason. I however am NOT looking to be someone's mistress, or "friends with benefits" either. I am looking for a real relationship, but it just doesn't mean we have to be together ***. I believe everyone needs their time alone also.I've had some changes in my life this past year, and my outlook has changed a bit. Like I said, I'm not desperate to be with someone, and therefore I will not settle. If it doesn't seem right, why waste each others' time? Life is too short to be unhappy.I have no children at home, and probably would be most suited with someone who doesn't have really young children. Though I love my son and the time we spend together, I kind of enjoy having some time to myself now. It would be nice to meet someone with a similar situation, but I'm open.I give 110% in a relationship, so I'm looking for someone who feels the same. It's no fun to be in a one-sided relationship. I love lots of music genres, and enjoy listening to live bands, as well as doing karaoke sometimes. I don't actually go out much anymore, but it is nice to get out every once in a while, and would be nice to have someone to go with me.I would have to say that Italian is my favorite type of food, but I am trying to cut down on carbs. I do not eat mushrooms or seafood, but do enjoy veggie & tofu Sushi, so that isn't out of the question. I also enjoy relaxing with some wine or beers at times. ; I just really needed a new look. :)Please have a current photo of yourself. Though attraction is more than physical aspects, there needs to be a spark. I also like to know who I'm "talking" to.I will not respond to rude, crude or sexist messages. Some things about my "match":I'm basically looking for someone with a sense of humor, who is respectful, honest, dependable and young at heart. A good sense of humor is a must, and I am a sucker for a nice smile. I also believe personality is a big factor in me finding someone "attractive". That being said, I find shallowness and arrogance a big turn off. I also will not tolerate prejudice and/or negative people in my life.     Time to put the writing skills to work that I learned in school. Life has had its obstacles but to put my favorite quote into play, "This to shall pass". Everything is temporary, even being a busy single mom of 3 kids, now that I am the mother of 3 young adults. There is soo much more time to do the things that I enjoy.
