I love to spend time with family and friends, go dancing, play volleyball and most water activities. I don't have children but would like to have a family of my own someday. I work in Human Resources but have a side job dealing cards . . . legally! I'm a Republican and try to keep up with politics and world events. I cannot date a smoker. I'm active in church but I'm not a holy roller.I don't date outside my race. Some call that racial prejudice. I call it racial pride. If more people had it, there would be a lot less tension. If you drink alcohol daily, you're not the guy for me. If you can't drink an alcoholic beverage without stopping before you're drunk, you're not the guy for me. Been there, done that.P.S. If you're interested in continuing the conversation, ask a question. If you simply respond to my question and don't prompt me for a response, I'm going to assume you're nice but trying to brush me off. Also, if you don't initiate a meeting within a few weeks, I'll think you're just stringing me along until something better comes along and I'll start focusing my attention elsewhere. I think lunch/dinner or coffee/drinks are great for a first date, allowing each to get to know the other in a casual setting.

This is the hard part, trying to describe yourself in a couple of paragraphs. I am down-to-earth, very optimistic with a good sense of humor. Generous and compassionate, I don't judge others but have very little patience for people that lie or cheat. I don't have drama or a lot of baggage in my life and like it that way. I have great family and friends, a job that I enjoy, a good life, and one son that just started his senior year and makes me proud every day of the young man he has grown to be. I don't have any one particular "hobby", but I have a lot of different interests ~ camping and floating, horses and trail riding, motorcycle riding (as a passenger), an evening around a bon-fire, 4- I can have fun doing anything with the right company!! I like different types of music mainly country, rock (old and new) and blues. Not into the bar scene but do like to go occasionally to see a band or dance or to celebrate a special occasion.I guess the best way to describe me – I would choose a pick-up truck over a porsche, a long trail ride or motorcycle ride over golf or tennis, the mountains over a big city, a campfire over the mall, a river or lake over a crowded beach. If you would like to know more than what these few paragraphs hold, just ask. I think if you have been talking to someone for a little bit, plan something to do. You cannot get to know someone by meeting them for an hour over a drink - your sitting across a table from each other and not really interacting, and frankly you both walk away thinking "that was boring". Do something that you both have interest in or something new to try - cut loose a little bit and laugh.
