Hi! I am entering a new chapter of my life, one that involves newfound free time thanks to my two independent teenage children. A little about me: I love my kids, my family, my friends and my job. It's way too difficult to describe myself in a box. I'm part Italian, which makes me a bit passionate in the things that matter to me. I feel things deeply and give 100% (and then some) to the people in my life. My children are my greatest blessing! Hobbies include anything of a creative nature. I'm a published writer and have recently tapped into the artist in me! I love creating something out of nothing. Can't imagine the world without music...all kinds. Don't think I can pin down a specific type or style. I guess it depends on my mood at any given moment. Anything from acoustic guitar, to piano music, to jazz, to rock, to contemporary pop music. Can't say I'm too fond of zydeco or rap music with offensive lyrics, but most anything else is on my list of favorites. Married for ten years, and although it wasn't my "happily-ever-after", my amazing kids made it all worth it. My youngest has just headed off to college, and I'm thinking it might be time for a new beginning for me. I just want a stand-up guy who's willing to say "Enough" when it comes to playing the same old games. (If you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've got!) Unfortunately, it seems like this might be the wrong pond to be fishing in. Plenty of people trolling, but nobody (and by that, I mean you men!) really making an effort to connect. (Or maybe you're hanging around for that arm candy?) Good luck with that... Lots of really great women out there (and yes, I think I'm one of them) looking for a really great man willing to at least buy her a cup of coffee! First dates are usually a bit awkward, so I'd prefer something with very little pressure! Meeting for dinner or coffee or a drink seems to be a great way to break the ice. I enjoy being on the water, camping as well as watching a good movie or reading a good book. Like spending time with friends as well as some quiet alone time with someone special. I do enjoy traveling and have done my fair share. Looking forward to more adventures abroad as well as seeing more of the beautiful U.S. I have two kids who are my pride and joy. Lucky enough to have a boy and girl and even though they are pretty much grown, or at least think they are, I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them however little time that may be these days. I have the most awesome clients and enjoy being able to get them through their injuries or just tired, stressed bodies so they can enjoy life to the fullest. I also have been fortunate enough to get involved with spinal chord injury patients and help them in regaining the use of their hands. I have discovered recently i rather enjoy working in the yard and have made my first jump from 14,***feet and can't wait to jump 18,***next time. Have taken up indoor rock climbing as well and hope to get good enough to try an outdoor climb someday. I am looking to find someone who likes to go hiking as much as stay in for a nice dinner, talking about our day and relaxing or out on the town for some fun and laughs. If some of that sounds good to you then look me up, i am always up for good conversation over a drink or a nice walk.
