Hello and thanks for viewing my profile. Yes, I agree a lot of women are more nutty than extra crunchy peanut butter. I am beginning to believe men are as well, they are just better at hiding it. Here is a little bit about me .... Single, no kids and own my own home ... Spent my 20's & 30's concentrating on my career, traveling, and enjoying life. Now I'm interested in being in a relationship but feel like I showed up late to the party and all that's left are some broken chips and a couple of nuts. I don't need you to rescue me, financially support me, or be the meaning of my life. What I do need is someone who gets my sense of humor, who has varied interests, is open minded and not judgemental of others ... a person who is reliable, honest, and kind-hearted. Here are some characteristics I am looking for ...Are you funny and optimistic? Are you the kind of guy who is outgoing and can talk to just about anyone? Are you spontaneous and adventurous? Do you have patience and are you easy-going? Do you work and pay your bills? Here are some characteristics that may mean we are not compatible. LOL!Have you ever been in prison? If so, for what? (just curious) Mental Hospital? Do you hate your ex-whatever? If so, do you carry that baggage into your new relationships? Do you still live with your parents? Are you mentally stuck in High School/College ... smoking pot & drinking heavily? Do you beat your kids or kick your dog? Do you feel the urge to say "Git R Done"? Do you smoke, but stated on your profile that you don't?If you are interested please feel free to write.Good luck! Coffee is good, outdoor dining, dog park, something fun, casual, no pressure.

I am considered a laid-back sort of gal...who enjoys life at an easy pace. I enjoy cooking, sewing, being creative, singing, playing the guitar, solving crossword puzzles, biking, etc. and spending time with my 18-year-old daughter. My friends tell me that I am a good listener and a good, honest friend. I still believe in the Golden Rule...treat others as you would want to be treated...it's refreshing to encounter people who still strive to do this. I sometimes feel as though I was born 30 years too late LOL!...because I seem to be attracted to the things of another time; such as the character of society, the music, the decent way people dressed, and manners, etc. I also enjoy other types of music, such as country, bluegrass, fifties, sixties, eighties, pop, soft rock, and jazz.I am attracted to a good, hard-working, decent man who believes in God, with a sense of humor, honesty, and I think intelligence is very sexy...not to mention a man in a suit and tie lol!I have been very puzzled since I have been a member of this site. It seems the men I have encountered are only looking for one thing and we all know what I am referring to. I just don't get it...why would they go through all the trouble to establish a profile, etc. just to lure women for that superficial one thing?....Aren't there any men out there who actually mean what they say in their profile?....are they all looking for that selfish, superficial one thing *** a decent relationship with a decent woman?...Go figure. I would consider a nice first date to meet somewhere, such as a movie, and then maybe a nice walk on the boardwalk or beach accompanied by nice conversation.
