A little about me -- I have been described as 'unique' -- I interpret this description as positive as I am not like other women. I am easygoing, independent, and not at all clingy. I try to find balance in my life -- I work hard and dedicate myself to give my all...but I won't let my work dominate my free time nor define who I am. Some key elements that I've discovered -- I feel that you cannot force a relationship and, at times, I have found this a very unnatural way to meet someone. For me, taking things slowly while getting to know someone is vital. I believe that people rush into relationships, and anything done is haste typically results in disappointment. Being up front and honest, and courteous leave no room for misunderstandings nor mixed emotions.I still believe in old-fashioned values and chivalry.-- court women and treat them with respect. I hear plenty of stories from women which end in heartbreak. They become man-haters (for a little while anyway) and lose trust in men. I do feel it is due to women's aggression and their mission to find love.I am looking for someone with strength (not necessarily muscle strength***strength in the way he exudes his confidence -- not boastful nor arrogant. A secure man needs no props nor swagger. I do believe chemistry is key but it doesn't make for compatibility. I feel the chemistry can evolve over time when getting to know someone (not too much time!). If it has to be forced, then maybe we aren't a match.
