Well I have been on here for a bit. I find that internet dating impersonal but it is the in thing. Well what can I say about myself. I am intelligent but not arrogant. I am respectful to those who are respectful to me. I love my job. I swim a lot and try to work out as much as I can. I love travelling and of course I love different kinds of foods. I consider myself cultured but not snobby.I like simple things. For example some days I go down to the pond (High Park area) and feed the ducks. When it is a nice day, I read in the park. Go for a nice ice cream, What else. I love Christmas so I decorate my apartment like crazy. History etc. As for music, depending on the, if I' m alone I listen to classical and read, yes having a glass of red wine. These online dating sites are like a candy store, and it makes meeting someone hard. This site gives you a lot of options but unfortunately not a lot of connections. I have been on and off of here for a while now, and what I have been seeing is quantity over quality. Too many choices. I call it fantasy dating. If you’re on a date and there’s any difference of opinion the man will automatically go on to the next woman, and I was doing it too until I realized it. When I dated in my 20's, couples went out a few times and became a couple. If there was a disagreement they worked it out and continued on. There was no bouncing from person, to person with ***possible matches. I find most people on internet sites to be looking for casual dating and sex. It’s no wonder with all the choices. In the end they’re alone because there wasn’t time to get to know anyone. At the age of 47, I don't have the need to sit in a bar, nor do I like to be alone all the time, so here I am.
