About Me

A little about me -- I have been described as 'unique' -- I interpret this description as positive as I am not like other women. I am easygoing, independent, and not at all clingy. I try to find balance in my life -- I work hard and dedicate myself to give my all...but I won't let my work dominate my free time nor define who I am. The same holds true with a relationship -- give my all; keep it real; keep it fun. Some key elements that I've discovered -- I feel that you cannot force a relationship and, at times, I have found this a very unnatural way to meet someone. Seems as though, although attraction is important, people cannot get beyond the visuals. I believe it is about a connection with someone. For me, taking things slowly while getting to know someone is vital. I believe that people rush into relationships, and anything done is haste typically results in disappointment. Being up front and honest, and courteous leave no room for misunderstandings nor mixed emotions.I still believe in old-fashioned values and chivalry.-- court women and treat them with respect. I hear plenty of stories from women which end in heartbreak. They become man-haters (for a little while anyway) and lose trust in men. I do feel it is due to women's aggression and their mission to find love.I am looking for someone with strength (not necessarily muscle strength***strength in the way he exudes his confidence -- not boastful nor arrogant. A secure man needs no props nor swagger. I do believe chemistry is key but it doesn't make for compatibility. I feel the chemistry can evolve over time when getting to know someone (not too much time!). If it has to be forced, then maybe we aren't a match.     Golf is is my favorite pass time. I play over a hundred rounds a year and love the exercise and the scenery. I enjoy the self improvement it allows you to develop from the mental side to the physical and allows you to meet alot of great people and see their character on the course as well. I enjoy a variey of activites from working out to watching reality tv to reading. I am comfortable on my own but would prefer to have someone to share my life with. I am not a high maintenance kind of person but like honesty and integrity in a person. As for my taste in music it varies. I grew up listening to country which I still do like but also many other types but not rap. A golf date is a great opening date as you have ***housr of which to get some exercise and talk to get to know each other. Worst case scenario you still got to golf.Now if it's too cold or inclimate another option would be a lunch get together.
