A little about me -- I have been described as 'unique' -- I interpret this description as positive as I am not like other women. I am easygoing, independent, and not at all clingy. I try to find balance in my life -- I work hard and dedicate myself to give my all...but I won't let my work dominate my free time nor define who I am. The same holds true with a relationship -- give my all; keep it real; keep it fun. Some key elements that I've discovered -- I feel that you cannot force a relationship and, at times, I have found this a very unnatural way to meet someone. A secure man needs no props nor swagger. I do believe chemistry is key but it doesn't make for compatibility. I feel the chemistry can evolve over time when getting to know someone (not too much time!). If it has to be forced, then maybe we aren't a match. A first date should be somewhere where we can talk and get to know some basic information about each other and mainly get past any nerves that either of us may have on a first date. We could go to dinner or have drinks or meet in a park or the mall. Depending on our connection could determine all of this. I think talking on the phone a few times before meeting is important for me to see if we connect. The weekends are the best time for me to go on dates at first.
