I am an adventurous and enthusiastic woman with many interests...I make it a point to make time for good friends, a good book and even better conversation when it is available. I also enjoy spending time outdoors-whether that is mowing the lawn-( yes, I actually enjoy mowing grass), tending to flowers or simply being outside-if there is water nearby, that is always an added perk. By the way I have a well-developed knack for finding four-leaf clovers-these can be tricky to find, but they do exist) . I enjoy museums, zoos and camping, though have found that these are far more enjoyable with someone special to accompany...I am seeking someone who is old enough to have experienced life and learned a few of the basic lessons without becoming fearful or jaded. Someone who is young enough to have plenty of life left in his spirit and also who recognizes the small blessings of every day. This includes the knowledge that grand gestures are always good, but often the small gestures are equally endearing-and sometimes a knowing smile or an encouraging word is what is actually needed. I have a great appreciation of diversity , including music/food and friends. I am also seeking an individual who still believes in the power of strong character, integrity and who recognizes that a promise made should be a promise kept. In addition, I want others to know that I believe that a well-developed sense of humor is essential to living life graciously and is often the difference between merely existing and actually living. Lastly, I know well the healing power of chocolate, thunderstorms-(especially late at night) and the whisper of a heartfelt prayer... An ideal first date is one that is mutually agreeable and preferably is in a setting where both can talk and be heard without having to shout. Preferably in a casual setting-either indoors or outdoors.

    Hello. This is my first time on meetville. I am looking for someone to share life with every day. Both of my children are grown so it is just me now.     Looking for an honest friend to start. Where it goes from there, we will figure out, together. Life gets complicated, but a relationship doesn't have to be, if there's communication and compromise...Not into drama, but sometimes it finds you...Sometimes it feels like the world is going crazy with liars, drug and alcohol addictions, game players, thieves and just players...I like to keep my life simple and have no problem walking away from toxic people! There are exceptions to every rule, but mostly I prefer to be with someone within a few years of my age, in either direction. No large age differences please. I have a soft spot for long hair on a man, but short hair or even bald, is in no way a deal breaker with a compatible personality...My best companion is my old girl, 11 year old boxer and I just acquired two manx kittens...and 11 rabbits...So I've been busy...lol...But there are many projects I'd love to get into with the right person...Would love to get my place to being completely self sufficient and even go off grid I'm confused about something I'm seeing on many profiles...Many men are 'undecided' about having more children....Hmmm I really don't know what to think about that...Been looking at profiles in my age group and do guys really want to have more kids at this stage of life? I have two grown sons and look forward to the day when they find the right woman and make me a Grandma....But my days of being a full time Mama to babies, or small children are long gone...LOL ....I love kids, but at this age, I don't want to start over....This site is kind of boring...send me a message, if you'd like to converse...not much else to do here...Profile suggestion for some people: If you are wearing a hat and sunglasses that cover your face and eyes, you might as well not have a pic up at all....just saying...I like being able to see a person's eyes! And please have some patience about meeting in person...This is a good way to meet people once they / I feel comfortable doing so....a couple of messages is not knowing someone well enough to meet in person..... Depends on the person and their likes...I like all the regular stuff...going to dinner or cooking at home, easy to please when it comes to food, movies, concerts, bonfires, flea markets, thrift shops, auctions, (not a mall kind of person), walks on the beach, weekend get aways, gun shows, etc...As long as the company is good, I'm up for most things. I've met some great friends from online sites and in some unusual places...Autozone and a ceramic shop...lol
