About Me

Hi! I am a huge fan of Classic Rock N Roll music and enjoy singing when my children are not around to tell me to stop! I enjoy being around people and look forward to quiet time with someone very special. I also enjoy watching my teenage son play soccer. What may make me unique is that I am always thinking of other people and how I may be able to help make their lives easier. I have taught for 20 years and therefore have another ***to go--that is if I can afford to retire when the time comes. Our economy scares me! My hobbies include cuddling with a strong man (my favorite), karaoke (though I haven't done it much), walking, swimming, diving, and working in my yard. I would describe myself as being fun to be around, a good sense of humor, organized and down to earth. My friends may describe me as being the same, but perhaps adding a good leader, an honest person, and a true friend. Generally, there is never a dull moment when I'm in your company! What I look for in a date/partner? I first notice their smile (teeth) and their eyes. They say that the eyes are the windows to our souls . . . at times, I can believe that. I would also hope that he has some sort of income . . . I cannot afford to support anyone else. Just the same, I am not looking for someone to support me and my children. Also . . . I hope to be able to hold a semi-intelligent conversation with him. Since I teach, improper sentence grammar jumps out at me like the sound of fingernails on a chalk board. I'm not saying I need someone who is college educated ... I could care less about degrees!!! In building up to a first date, perhaps several *** text messages) would be a good option so I could get to know my date's personality as much as possible before seeing him in person. That way the first impression is not based soley on looks alone. My ideal first date would be to meet at a (not busy) restaurant and sit, talk, and ask additional questions about each other and check for "Chemistry". I thought the "Chemistry" would come in time in my last relationship, and it never did. I believe it is something that will happen right from the beginning. A good head start would be an inviting smile and beautiful eyes!!!

I am fun, down to earth and enjoy just hanging out or a night on the town. I love beach in the summertime. Traveling even if a quick drive to NY. Music, dancing, movies, cooking a good meal. I love romantic times and good conversations. I am looking for a truly good friend and lover to travel on this train of life together.. My first date would be coffee or a drink, or dinner and conversation to see if we connect!

Hello, I am energetic and laugh easily. I love to watch and play sports. I also love to read. I have a great career that I enjoy. Would like to get back into skiing and being a little more physically active. (I am quite capable, just need the push out the door!). It would be fun to do that with the right man. I would love to do anything with a partner who is fun loving and playful, knows how to dress and smells good, with a big white smile and a postive attitude to go with it! :D Swimming in a sharks tank or meet for coffee.

Yay...let it snow, it offers so much fun. It affords free excersice (shoveling), snow shoeing, cross country skiing and is just plain beautiful to be out in. In the summer I often enjoy cycling, hiking and camping along with the many amazing music festivals (solar fest, etc..). Next summer will add canoe/camping to the list as the re- While my son, in my life, feels like 'everything' - sharing my life with a partner holds excitement/importance as well. Clearly it's a delicate balance (with such a young child) but anything worth striving for is possible. Do you like getting out for a great meal here and there but also value the idea of staying 'home' for some spectacular food and following it up by enjoying eachother's company while the child is asleep? If you're somebody who appreicates moving slowly knowing that there is no rush (as my job is to provide my child with consistancy, etc...) then let's take the first step and say hello.
