I am a divorced mom of a 19 yr old son. I am a cancer survivor. Realizing how fragile life can be I don't want to take anything for granted. I would like to experience all life has to offer but not alone. My son is in college now and doesn't need me around as much. I do like my alone time but after awhile it does get lonely. Someone to grow old with. I want to love someone unconditional as well as be loved the same. Could that person be you. Only one way to find out, start out with a simple hello. On a first date I would like to go to dinner for good conversation then maybe coffee after. A comedy club is always fun (ha ha). Picnics are fun as well. I like to go to the movies but you can't get to know each other there.

-rasied, beach bum in search of island traveling partner. I have been here, done this AK thing for nearly 25 years. Another 5 and I am officially on island time! Rum drinks, reggae/island music, scooter/bike travel only, flip-flops, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and swimsuits ***! At least part of the year... and unless I decide to go to travel some other part of the Continents. I want to see it all!My kids are here and have no plans to leave, so my life will remain here for home base, but otherwise, let's go for some fun in the sun!!Until then, I'm interested in live music, theater, movies, love to dance to reggae rhythms, dip netting, fishing, flowers in the summer, camping, road trips, day trips, hiking, reading, photography, bbq-ing year round, people and cultures, history... I've always loved to learn and can't imagine that will end just because I retire from teaching. I'd like to learn to ride 4-wheelers and snow machines. That looks like fun! Someday I'd like to......make love in a field of flowers...ride a bareback horse on a beach...stand among the ancient ruins of those who lived before us...swim with dolphins...ride a camel or elephant.....hmmmm, any suggestions? I am open to anything, but would prefer an opportunity to be busy in activity while still having opportunity for easy conversation... pool, darts, watching a game, playing a game, bowling, bingo (not just for old people! Haha!) walking...
