** UPDATE **Gosh, dating would be so much easier if I wasn't such a responsible Mom. I have no regrets what so ever! The hardest part is getting to know someone before we can do things all together. I bought my own home a several years ago, it was a foreclosure, so I did a lot of the work myself. My daughter and are are extremely happy with our lives, but it would be nice to have an addition to our family. My x has not been a part of my daughters life for a long time which is okay with both of us because we have each other. Remember this . . . do unto others as you would have done to you.Just My Opinion: If you are on a dating website, and you meet someone you like and you decide you want to put the time and effort into figuring out if it will work or not***then hide your profile and stop looking. If you continue to look for the next best thing, then you might just miss out on the right one. 1st date should be simple and relaxing.

    I am an adventurous and enthusiastic woman with many interests...I make it a point to make time for good friends, a good book and even better conversation when it is available. Lastly, I know well the healing power of chocolate, thunderstorms-(especially late at night) and the whisper of a heartfelt prayer... An ideal first date is one that is mutually agreeable and preferably is in a setting where both can talk and be heard without having to shout. Preferably in a casual setting-either indoors or outdoors.
