About Me

Hi! I'm a single mom of a teenage boy. I've been on my own now for 9 years. In that time I found myself, and now I would like to find someone to share my life with...the good, the bad and the ugly. Family and friends are very important to me. I have a big heart which sometimes comes back to bite me in the butt...but none the less, it's who I am. I like to do just about anything within reason..no bungee jumping etc..LOL I currently work as a receptionist but am looking to make a career change, hopefully in the near future.I love children, always wished I had more, but that's not the hand that was dealt me. I realize that at this point of our lives most of us have children, even some have grandchildren, and I am willing to accept that, as I would expect the same from my partner. Anything can work with patience and the right balance of things. I want someone who enjoys family time, alone time, and time to be with friends. Everyone needs to keep their individuality. I feel it's important to make the other times special as well.Basically I'm just a simple woman looking for a simple man. The important things in life cannot be bought. It's the small thoughtful things that are remembered and cherished.I've tried this online dating for quite awhile now without much luck. I like to think of them as a "meet and greet". Something simple like lunch, coffee, a drink, light dinner seems to work best. If it's not working out, at least we tried...and if it does...GREAT! Second dates have endless opportunities.
