I work hard as an ER nurse and night shift clinical coordinator. I love my job,but it is not my life.(it does make me realize how short life can be and to just enjoy every minute of it that you can) My family always comes first. My children are now young adults working and gong to school with my oldest out on her own. No matter how old they are they will always be a priority for me. They are adopted and of different races so if that's not for you pass me on.I am just staring the process of looking for a home to purchase. I really like NJ, well, probably wouldn't have any complaints if someone warmed my car up for me every cold winter morning:) I am patient,easy going,reliable,generous and responsible. Looking for the same in a partner. I'm shy at first,but warm up quickly I can have a slightly warped sense of humor.....blame it on years of ER nursing.I like staying in shape and staying active. I run outside regularly and belong to a gym. LOVE the beach,rainy nights.sleeping in once in a while, Early fall mornings with a good cup of coffee, Halloween,pumpkin picking,apple picking. I love scary movies!! The kind that make you not want to be home alone! I like dressing up and going out for dinner or a drink somewhere out of the way, not too crowded. A place where we can actually hear each other talk and I don't feel like I could be the parent to most of the patrons.Also love casual stay at home times too. I like most types of music and enjoy good local bands. Going to the city is fun on occasion too. I never mind getting a little messy as long as I'm having fun:) Really most things we do are fun in the right company.Also love vacations exotic or different not necessarily the popular all inclusive resorts that are so popular,like stay-cations too they give me a chance to catch up on those things so easily put off, finding new places to explore as well as going to old favorites. So that's pretty much me in a few paragraphs. I love animals, art, music, (especially reggae and R&B to set the mood) various ethnic foods, baseball, warm weather, sleeping late, holding hands, snuggling, playing the drums, watching the sunset, sharing good times with family and friends. I was born in a big northern city, but live on a farm now. That country girl was always inside! When I moved to FL 12 years ago, I retired to become a full-time Mom. I am usually in jeans and boots, and working on some project around the farm or house. I get dirty! I don't mind mucking the stalls, tilling the garden or tending the animals. I don't go to salons to have my nails done, but I clean up pretty well. ;) Short skirts and high heels, no longer me. If this is what you are looking for, hit the back button, I won't be upset. I am pretty handy, but could sure use an extra hand now and again. Preferably one that wants to be a friend and partner. I am probably a home-body because this is where I have the most peace and am with my family. I am honest, stable, healthy and free of drama. You should be, too.Update: Some choices that meetville gives us do not completely fit. For *** "I Am Looking For" I put Long term, but really would like to say Meet, have sparks, become friends, then Long term. Also, "Pets"---they should give us the option to write them all, not just one or the other! :) Not that this is really a big deal! I have horses, goats, dogs and chickens. And they are all pets!I've listed some things that I like, and thought about adding some things that I don't like, but not sure if that is the way to go with this profile. As long as you show a fairly recent and clear picture and have a profile that exposes some of who YOU are, I can make a reasonable decision. OH...I just thought of one thing I don't like and is a definite deal breaker. If you are a fan of the current administration in DC, keep looking!
