I was born in a big northern city, but live on a farm now. That country girl was always inside! When I moved to FL 12 years ago, I retired to become a full-time Mom. I am usually in jeans and boots, and working on some project around the farm or house. I get dirty! I don't mind mucking the stalls, tilling the garden or tending the animals. I don't go to salons to have my nails done, but I clean up pretty well. ;) Short skirts and high heels, no longer me. If this is what you are looking for, hit the back button, I won't be upset. I am pretty handy, but could sure use an extra hand now and again. Preferably one that wants to be a friend and partner. I am probably a home-body because this is where I have the most peace and am with my family. I am honest, stable, healthy and free of drama. For *** "I Am Looking For" I put Long term, but really would like to say Meet, have sparks, become friends, then Long term. Also, "Pets"---they should give us the option to write them all, not just one or the other! :) Not that this is really a big deal! I have horses, goats, dogs and chickens. And they are all pets!I've listed some things that I like, and thought about adding some things that I don't like, but not sure if that is the way to go with this profile. As long as you show a fairly recent and clear picture and have a profile that exposes some of who YOU are, I can make a reasonable decision. I enjoy the outdoors. Grew up on the Ocean, can be found there any season. Love the White Mountians, long rides to nowhere, Fall, apple picking, Flea marketing, movies, music, FAMILY, working out, meditating, cooking, decorating my home, Astronomy, The 80's, sewing/crafting, being with my daughter.) Documentaries, biographies, stimulating conversation. I believe Sincerity, openness, communication, respecting one another, and desire are key to a lasting relationship.... Be confident . Confidence is sooo sexy! Be emotionally independent. In other words be past your ex's. Have a good sense of yourself and what you want. I would love to find my soulmate, Someone who I cant wait to see at the end of my day, that person who turns the most mundane things ( grocery shopping, tooth brushing, car washing, etc...) into an adventure just by being there. Little messages throughout the day, anticipating time together.I dress up everyday for work, so I love the casual attire on weekends...sneakers/boots and jeans for me. Sort of a sick and twisted sense of humor...have to thank my older brother for that...I LOVE to laugh, I mean a good hearty laugh. Life is too short not to see the humorous side of things.And there is quite a lot to be had....Just one more thing, I am not "into" sports whatsoever. However, this is where you come in. Im a fast learner if I have a good teacher. Please explain the game before we sit down to watch it. ....Oh, and bring your patience....lol whatever we decide is just perfect!;)
