I'm fun, youthful, open minded, tolerant, athletic, smart, principled and professional. I try to live life to the fullest. A big part of living life to the fullest for me is doing outdoor adventures . . . be it on foot, mt bike, skis or boat. A guy who wants to explore all the wilderness areas and waterways of the world sounds awesome to me! I'd love a friend who shares some of my interests and I think it would be cool if the friendship develops into something more. High on my list is to live on a sailboat someday. In some ways I'd prefer to be living in New Zealand - since snow, mountains and water appeal to me. Skiing, mountaineering and sailing. :) Most of my interests are athletic and I spend a lot of time outdoors but I also read voraciously, have an intellectual side and enjoy good conversation. Have a strong social consciousness and volunteer a lot. Extremely interested in people and cultures and what I can do to make the world a better place. My attitude on most things is more flexible than rigid. What is unique about me is probably my love of adventure! I like to explore and am not afraid of risk taking. Nothing ventured, nothing tried attitude. Somehow I combine emotionally sensitive, vulnerable, fearless and strong all in one. If you figure out what I'm saying, you'll get me.     Since I am in the technical field, I like discussing technology and networking. Politics, world events, religion, movies(especially independent films. Anything but horror or Sci Fi), etc. Books I have enjoyed reading recently: The Age of Turbulence, Soldier -- The Al Quaeda & I'm currently reading "Lenin, Stalin, & Hitler - The Age of Social Catastrophe" but it's really tough to get through. Still chewing on "Too Big to Fail". Reading tech stuff as related to my job.When its nice weather, I want to be outside perhaps taking a bike ride (on flat terrain!!!). Since I moved last year, I've found that I really enjoy being outside and doing the landscaping around my house.I love rock music - listening to it - as well as trying to play it on my guitar.
