I'm fun, youthful, open minded, tolerant, athletic, smart, principled and professional. I try to live life to the fullest. A big part of living life to the fullest for me is doing outdoor adventures . . . be it on foot, mt bike, skis or boat. A guy who wants to explore all the wilderness areas and waterways of the world sounds awesome to me! I'd love a friend who shares some of my interests and I think it would be cool if the friendship develops into something more. High on my list is to live on a sailboat someday. In some ways I'd prefer to be living in New Zealand - since snow, mountains and water appeal to me. Skiing, mountaineering and sailing. :) Most of my interests are athletic and I spend a lot of time outdoors but I also read voraciously, have an intellectual side and enjoy good conversation. Have a strong social consciousness and volunteer a lot. Extremely interested in people and cultures and what I can do to make the world a better place. My attitude on most things is more flexible than rigid. What is unique about me is probably my love of adventure! I like to explore and am not afraid of risk taking. Nothing ventured, nothing tried attitude. Somehow I combine emotionally sensitive, vulnerable, fearless and strong all in one. If you figure out what I'm saying, you'll get me.     Did you ever have a really bad day and a random "Have a great day!" accompanied by a smile from just about anyone made life just a little bit lighter...if just for the moment?My mom always taught me that life is way too short to be miserable...and if I am, then I am the only one that can make things right. No "chick flicks" for me - action or comedy rules!;The Notebook" or "The Twighlight Saga" any day of the week. Not a huge fan of TV (but, I really miss Denis Leary and "Rescue Me"); however, I will make time for any episode of "Tosh.O", "Friends", "Seinfeld", "Duck Dynasty", or anything on the Food Network.Other than that, life is too short to get caught sitting still - besides, my career requires me to have boat-loads of energy and put in some crazy hours! But, on the flip-side...the grim reaper can't catch a moving target!So, let's try to take life a little less serious, make our steps a little bit lighter, smile a whole lot more, and see where it takes us!
