About Me

Life happens ... I guess, and although none of us ever expected to be in this... here we all are, debating whether or not to jump back into the fire, hoping and praying not to get burned. Ahhh to only know the secrets of the heart or undying love, does it exist for all of us or only some? But, please, if you lie, cheat, sneak around, can't be trusted, are emotionally unavailable, addicted to porn, on some serious medication, have a wife or a girlfriend living under the same roof as you, or are a player .. CALL ME LOL just joking !!! if you are any of the above please keep going, I have really had my fill of all that, and yes duh I will figure it out, these are highlights eh and I only use the dumb blonde thing when I get pulled over for speeding...not that I speed :) I meant IF I ever got pulled over and blamed for speeding which I don't do...LOLmy age is wrong and it won't let me change itI believe that a sleeping child is awesome to just watch,I believe that someone you love can hurt you and not really mean to,I believe that your life can change in 1 minute by someone you do not even know,I believe that once trust is lost, you have to earn it back,I believe that love can make someone seem perfect for you,I believe that some relationships can't be repaired of the damage they endured,I believe that Jesus has saved me :)I believe that we all fall down but we only fail when we refuse to get back up,I believe that even though you think you got away with something, God saw it...I believe that your word and a handshake should mean more than a legal document,I believe that a lot of us give up 5 minutes before our miracle happens,I believe that you should be friends with your ex if you are raising kids,I believe that people who didn't believe in God changed their mind right after they died,I believe that all the important things in life cannot be bought with money,I believe that hindsight is ***and regret can break your heart,I believe that we don't have to change friends if we understand friends change.I believe that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but thatdoesn't give me the right to be cruel or rude especially to those who care about me.I believe that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you everyonce in a while and you must forgive them for that.I believe that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.Same goes for true love. I believe that PMS is a lousy reason women use to justify treating their men and kids bad, they never PMS on their friends....I believe that you can do something in an *** will give you heartachefor life.I believe that love isn't easy to find, if you do find it, use caution in how you treat it, you may regret losing it.I believe that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.I believe that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be thelast time you see them.I believe that you can keep going long after you think you can't.I believe that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.I believe that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs tobe done, regardless of the consequences.I believe that money is a lousy way of keeping score.I believe that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing & have the best timeI believe that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, willbe the ones to help you get back up.I believe that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them todoesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.I believe that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've hadand what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdaysyou've celebrated.I believe that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes youhave to learn to forgive yourself.I believe that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop foryour grief.I believe that our backgrounds and circumstances may have influenced who we are,but we are responsible for who we become.I believe that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love eachother. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.I believe that two people can look at the exact same thing and see somethingtotally different.I believe that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.I believe that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.I believe a true friend never gets in your way, unless you happen to be going down, I believe that nobody can make you feel inferior without your consentI believe that Jesus is the friend who walks in when everyone else has walked outand that life can be all you are willing to make it if you just tryI believe that if you have put some time into creating a profile you should copy it to your computer so when meetville accidently deletes you, it will not take a lifetime to re-write ooh first date? um that is a lot to commit to, LOL I guess maybe coffee for 20 min that way we can leave fast, but then again....if your profile pic is 20 years old and you gained 40 lbs , look 8 months pregnant and lost all your hair since the pic, I am NOT staying for the coffee

Hello. I am new at this, so just to say a few things about myself. I Love to travel, have fun with friends, socializing, listening to music, dancing, but can also stay home and cook together and watch a good show or movie. I have to have honesty in a relationship, and no head games...please! I have 2 wonderful older kids that mean the world to me, and we love to have fun and laugh together. Love the beach and boating a plus! Looking for a Great guy that can make me laugh, and be respectful.

This part can be pretty intimidating. I don't want to come across sounding narcissistic. I am no triathlete. Having said that, there aren't may women my age that look like me or can do what I do. It's not bragging if you can actually do it...;) I am an adventurous girl. I absolutely love fishing. I have learned to sail Hobie catamarans very well. I have the courage to sail competitively, skippering my own boat. I am a very capable hunter. I love spending time practicing at the shooting range. I prefer being outdoors. I love playing golf whether it is serious or goofing around. I have my own set of custom golf clubs. I started my own home business with the jewelry I make to supplement my income. Having a teachable heart is essential to moving forward and learning from life.If you have a life and are socially interacting, you have experienced both negative and positive relationships. I have made a very strong effort to develop the habit of hanging on to the positive. Negativity and anger that is retained turns toxic and is reflected back in the habits of daily living and how we treat other people.I believe the degree of intimacy shared is based on the degree of trust bestowed. That being said, if you are married (even just a little married) please don't bother me. My ideal first date would be having coffee or meeting in a nice quiet place. An open, social type of setting where we can hear each other talk.

MOTORCYCLES SCARE THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO SHARE THAT PART OF YOUR LIFE WITH, IT'S NOT ME. IF YOU ARE OK WITH JUST HANGING OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS TO GO RIDING, WE'RE GOLDEN. ALSO, DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO CATS. - I realize this a long profile so I figured I'd just put that up front. I don't know if Animal Lover is the best word to describe myself but my options were limited. I am silly, cynical, sarcastic and affectionate. I'm also a REALLY bad speller and I never make my date dance at formal occasions. I'm also really go at making my bed but I rarely do.I'm happy with myself and my life, but I'd like to have someone to share it with. I own a golden retriever trapped in the body of a chihuahua. She actually looks like someone Photo-shopped the head of a Chihuahua to the body of a pug. All of my dogs have been rescues, but she takes the cake as far as looks. Apparently I'm a tiny little person (5'2") but growing up I was the tallest one in the family. We didn't count Dad since he's a boy. I'd go over to my Mom's house and she'd ask me to reach for stuff. I thought I was really tall until high school.I'm a very laid back, low maintenance kind of girl. Given a choice between a trendy club or a dive bar, I'll take the dive bar every time. I like to go places with character; they usually have better music. I avoid shopping and malls as much as possible. If I need clothes I have to have my friends or sister come with my other wise I'd just wear black shirts and black pants all the time. They really need to start making Garanimals for adults. I can match up animals like you wouldn't believe. Bookstores are the exception to this rule although there aren't too many left. I like antique stores because I'm always on the look out for old medication bottles or advertisements. I'm not particularly girly, but I clean up pretty well and I love a good manicure. I have a silly/sarcastic sense of humor.I'm divorced with no kids, but I do have a 11 year old niece and 2 nephews ages 9 and 10.I'm also a REALLY bad speller and I never make my date dance at formal occasions.I Listen to Wait Wait, This American Life, The Moth and Radio Lab podcasts. I'm not ashamed to say that I get my news from The Daily Show and Fark.com (and occasionally the Onion. I have my recumbent bike in front of the TiVo so if I want to watch anything, I've got to be riding my bike. I also like to multitask while I ride. I TiVo Judge Judy (don't judge me, she's the only one who calls it like it is) and some time knit or play solitaire on my phone while I ride.I am a big animal person. We got to second semester surgery and I was afraid my sneezing would kill a cat. At that time there was only one school in the state and it was really hard to get into. I knew I was allergic to cats, but I got in and I didn't want to say I never tried. I ended up changing my major to Business Management and then came home and got my Bachelor's from North Park because they had a program for working adults. I'm kind of all over the board.Book-I loved (I'm currently on medical leave, nothing contagious, but recovering) being a pharmacy tech. Sometimes the public makes me weep for the future of humanity, but generally they are literate and I have a great time with them. They know I care and will go above and beyond for them to get them what they need; corporate be damned. I love the crabby ones, unless they're really sick, and then kill them with kindness and they love me forever.I feel that what ever job I do in this world, I want it to have an impact. When I leave work, I like knowing that I've spent 8 hours helping people who truly needed it. I was trained on the job, but these days they are a ton of schools where you can take classes to become a pharmacy tech. I am planning on calling some of these schools and explaining they need to have a class on interacting with the patients and I am the perfect person to teach that class.I don't remember anyplace where I received more flowers and gifts for just doing my job. It was the critically acclaimed Co-Ed Prison Sluts. I had no idea at the time, but the guy who co-wrote it is extremely famous in the world of Improve. I didn't meet him for months when we started because he was directing the 50th Anniversary Show at Second City. It was so much fun and I meet some amazing people. I find sarcasm and a very dry sense of humor VERY appealing. I prefer men who shower daily and don't live in their parent's basement. Teeth and book learnin' are a plus.I'm not a foodie but I prefer not to eat junk food and take out on a regular basis. I like to talk to the person on the phone first. I think you get a better feel for them, then you do in *** that goes well I think meeting for drinks with the rest of the evening open, is a great first date. That way you have some time to get to know the person over drinks (alcohol or otherwise) and if things are really going well, go to dinner and see what happens.Or meeting for coffee. Very casual.I think sometimes thing can get awkward. If the person I'm with is supposed to take me to dinner and we really don't hit it off, I don't want him to feel uncomfortable spending the next hour or 2 trying to figure a way out of this. I guess what I'm saying is, you never know and I don't want to force anyone or myself to spend time with someone they don't really like.
