To begin with, I enjoy doing a lot of different things... Not opposed to trying new things either. My desire is to find someone I enjoy spending time with when the opportunity presents itself without smothering each other too much. Hopefully over time, it will be what we're looking for, and then again, maybe not. But hopefully we've made a new friend if it doesn't! I don't really have any set plan in mind. I love to socialize with friends, cook out, watch sporting events, go dancing, movies, all kinds of things. Too many to list!! I like to relax and enjoy doing the simple things as well. I really can't think of anything I wouldn't like doing if I'm with someone whose company I enjoy. I really can fit into any scenario you put me in and have a great time, whether it's mud bogging or or black tie. LOL My music tastes are really all over the place. Depends on my mood as to what I listen to. A new addition to my life is working with a personal trainer to get into shape! I am really enjoying it, and am improving daily! I like the push! :-)NOTE: If you converse with someone on here that you are interested in and even take that first step to go out, wouldn't you want to concentrate on that one person for a few weeks to see if there is anything there before you cast your line again? Be nice if you're interested and don't ruin it by continuing to fish while getting to know someone. Geez .... It just makes you look uninterested. The site says to answer the question "Why am I unique?" Talk to me, and you decide! ;) A good first date starts with a man who treats me like a lady. Dinner and/or drinks would be nice to get to know each other to see if there's a true interest or a casual cup of coffee would be fine as well. As far as a first date, I'm not too terribly hard to please because like I've already said, I'm open to a lot of different things and not just the standard date!. Surprise me!! Good company and good conversation with whatever we choose to do all make for a good first date. But you have to smell really good too! I love that!

I feel like I'm writing a mission statement but here goes.....Rather than waste anyones time, here's whom I'm hoping to meet. I'm not concerned with whether or not you are white collar, blue collar, no collar what so ever... Just a man who is self assured. Can hold a conversation. Comfortable in his own skin. Someone with the maturity of a man but still holds on to the joys of being a boy. A man who takes pride in his appearence, is compassionate, kind, affectionate, thoughtful would be nice..........you get the idea. Would love to feel that thrill of being breathless just by seeing you. I'm 49 yrs old, 5' 1/4" tall. I'm fairly athletic so in pics I end up looking like I have football player shoulders and arms. Simply said, I look terrible in pics... My friends and family would describe me as very friendly, kind, thoughtful, loyal,generous, good sense of humor...I have no problem laughing at myself. I'm very affectionate...I believe that your word is your bond and have raised my children to value that.... I prefer to be outside...like the summer better than the winter. Yes,the wave runner is mine, the boat sadly is not. I also have a little Harley sportster (best thing I've ever done for myself) I don't mind the cold if I get to ski,sled,tube or skate. In essence, I enjoy life!I have two great children whom I simply adore. Love watching them both play lacrossse and my sons football. Have two best friends one for 40 years(yikes) and the other for 34 years(she's also my business partner). I am lucky enough to also have a large group of other amazing friends. I come from a very big family and we all like each other. I hear more often then not that us all getting along is unusual. So all in all...I have been very blessed. I am surrounded by children,family and friends who love me. In that, I am rich beyond imagination. Sadly, in the romance arena I have not been so blessed. I'm very hopeful that will change.
