I am a confident, happy, sometimes sassy woman who is looking to make the next chapter in my life the best one yet. I enjoy many of the things most people do - the water, the mountains, restaurants, travel, intelligent conversation, being outside more than inside, etc... But what separates me from the rest of the women on this site? That's almost impossible to answer on a website with a catalog of human beings who all say basically the same thing. I can tell you a bit more about myself, but you must be the judge.What I am looking for is a relationship that offers depth, fun, playfulness, trust, kindness, mutuality, passion, intimacy, growth and so much more. I am quite independent and don't need to be with someone ***and often times do require some alone time - it's healthy to be alone or out with individual friends. On the other hand I truly miss the little things that come with a healthy relationship - smiling because you've done that cute thing you always do; cooking a favorite meal (either you for me, me for you, or us together); coming up from behind and wrapping our arms around each other just because; cuddling up and listening to you talk about whatever is important to you at the moment; and just being ourselves and knowing we wouldn't want to be with anyone else.I am an eternal optimist and will never give up on the thought that that special someone is out there somewhere. Are they going to find me on this site? Who knows.....     My life is pretty good except for having that special someone to share life with. I'm looking for that person that I just feel completely comfortable with. It would be great to meet you if we enjoy some of the same interests but I also love to be exposed to new experiences. It is difficult to summarize who I am in a few words, but I will try. I'm a science teacher and an conservationist. I love to travel to state and national parks and visit natural history museums. I also spend a lot of time with my great group of work friends and my family. I'm a simple jeans and flip-flops kind of girl. I'm not into shopping, fake nails, jewels, or lots of make up. I have a few tattoos. I'm probably a little too shy when I meet new people but not at all once I know you. My friends would describe me as very easy going, extremely cool and calm under stress, and in general happy all the time. I love simple things like a quiet morning with really good coffee or a good book on the patio when the air is cool but the sun is shining on a clear day. I enjoy random stupid conversation with my friends around a campfire. I'm a hard worker and I enjoy learning new do-it-your-self skills. I love being outside all year except summer, that’s when I love my air-conditioning. I equally enjoy healthy food and bad food. I exercise every day but I'm not fanatical about it. I am not at all spiritual or religious unless you count my awe of nature. I believe in science. I have always been a bit of a scifi nerd. I really enjoy the water, snorkeling and scalloping but I have been known to get seasick on choppy water. I am a bit of a beer snob, give me an IPA...never a light beer. I am not perfect and I am in general happy with myself but always trying to be a better person. I am an open-minded person. I appreciate some assertiveness in a man who will contact me first and ask to meet. I am not interested in an online chatting relationship.
