I am a confident, happy, sometimes sassy woman who is looking to make the next chapter in my life the best one yet. I enjoy many of the things most people do - the water, the mountains, restaurants, travel, intelligent conversation, being outside more than inside, etc... But what separates me from the rest of the women on this site? That's almost impossible to answer on a website with a catalog of human beings who all say basically the same thing. I can tell you a bit more about myself, but you must be the judge.What I am looking for is a relationship that offers depth, fun, playfulness, trust, kindness, mutuality, passion, intimacy, growth and so much more. I am quite independent and don't need to be with someone ***and often times do require some alone time - it's healthy to be alone or out with individual friends. On the other hand I truly miss the little things that come with a healthy relationship - smiling because you've done that cute thing you always do; cooking a favorite meal (either you for me, me for you, or us together); coming up from behind and wrapping our arms around each other just because; cuddling up and listening to you talk about whatever is important to you at the moment; and just being ourselves and knowing we wouldn't want to be with anyone else.I am an eternal optimist and will never give up on the thought that that special someone is out there somewhere.     I have a number of things I like to do. I read, write novels, crochet for charity, cook, and others. I love to take walks, but find its not so fun by myself. I know how to pay tennis but I'm a little rusty, and have attempted to play golf...its not pretty..lol. One of my most consistent goals is to become a published authoress. I've spend a lot of time polishing my work. To that end, I meet with other authors and discuss each other's work once a month. But I can put it away to have other adventures.     I am very sorry to say this and you are more than welcome to call me anything you like...but I don't date black men....please understand that we all have our preferences and that just happens to be one of mine. Life is too short to be so serious.I love nice things as much as the next person but I'm not a materialistic kinda woman. I don't need much to be happy..I just need you! I'm sure you're rolling your eyes after reading that last statement but its really true. If by chance u do not have a drivers license due to multiple DUI's/OVI's...or for any other reason, please don't waste our time. I want a good normal man that has a job, a car/truck, a drivers license and one that doesn't feel the need to drink a 6 pack (or more) on a nightly basis. couple drinks...a little talk...a little harmless flirting if the interest is there...then a nice good night kiss would be appropriate in anticipation for our next meeting...
