I really hate these profile essays but they are a bit necessary so here's what I came up with. I was married for 12 years, been divorced for 15. Spent the vast majority of that time raising my son who is now 21. Guess it's time for me now. My closest friends say (and I would agree) that I'm fun, outgoing, passionate, affectionate, genuine, giving, caring and kind. I love life. I am a Christian. I'm very involved at my church in music ministries. God has blessed me with a passion for music and worship. My faith is very important to me and I want to meet someone who is willing to share that. In other words, if you are not a Christian and don't love the Lord, that will be a deal breaker for me. I'm not a perfect Christian (as if there is such a thing.) But I do try to live with a "What Would Jesus Do" mentality. I treasure the relationships in my life and count them pure blessings, never taking them for granted, romantic or otherwise. I am very close to my family. We're a pretty crazy bunch and we love to get together as often as we can. I love to laugh. I have a couple different groups of close friends and love getting together with them to enjoy a few drinks and some laughs, maybe a game night, maybe sitting around the kitchen table or tailgate style out in the garage. Either way, it's about being with people you love and investing in each other's lives. I like to be out and about but can easily enjoy a quiet evening at home. Keep your shoes by the door though. I'm about as spontaneous as they come. Impromptu ice cream runs should be expected :) I work full time for local government and have a part time photography business. I'm busy to a fault but I make sure to take time for the important things in life - my son (when he'll let me Hah!), family, friends, and even manage to take some time to myself every now and again. I love to go the movies, concerts, plays, check out a new restaurant for dinner community festivals and fairs, checking out a local band, shopping (all great for people watching, a favorite past time of mine) acrylic cavas painting, pottery, local attractions, museums ...... I'm up for just about anything really. And last but not least, I LOVE to cook!! I would hope you like to eat?If you're still with me, there's a few things you need to know. I can talk circles around most. When I tell a story you're gonna get details. I'm not the best listener though. I'm working on that and getting better. I can be a bit high strung at times. I'm strong willed and independent. Fifteen years of single motherhood will do that. I don't like confrontation and I won't offer up unsolicited advice but if you ask for my opinion I will tell you exactly what's on my mind and give you the honest truth in love and with compassion. I'm a tell it like it is kind of girl. With me, what you see is what you get. If I'm happy, you'll know, if I'm mad, you'll know, if I don't feel good, you'll know and if I have a good reason to not like someone I'm not going to sit in a room with them and pretend like I do. I don't do fake. I don't play games. I don't want drama. I don't have time for either. I don't smoke but I do enjoy my wine. Jesus drank wine, and I think we'd get a long just fine LOL I don't really have any bad habits ........ except nose spray. It's a nasty addiction I know but there are worse things. So what am I looking for? A fun, genuine, down to earth, one-woman-man to get to know and spend time with and see what happens from there. If your relationship status is separated, I don't care for how long, you are still married and I'll kindly ask that you move on to the next profile. Divorced, widowed, never married, with or without kids ..... it's all good. A little baggage is okay. At this age we've all got some. But if there are major hang-ups, please be honest with yourself and me about how they may affect our relationship. If you value trust and honesty, have a great sense of humor and enjoy great conversation, and love to live life to its fullest, I'm your girl. I am passionate and have a lot of love to give. I'm looking for the true love of my life, best friend, partner in crime ..... You get the picture. I'm looking for someone searching for the same thing. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I'd love to be swept off my feet and treated like a real lady should. But even if there is no romantic spark, well then I've at least made a new friend. And you can never have too many of those. If you've made it to the end, congrats. Remember I warned you .... you're gonna get details! Hah! Someplace casual where we could just sit and talk, maybe over a drink or cup of coffee (even though I don't drink coffe. I'll find something :)
