It truly is a wonderful time in life when one's children become independant and more responsible and you regain more of a sense of self. It is a time to rediscover the desires and passions that have been suppressed by so many of life's other responsibilties. For the record... I am (perhaps, too) independent, emotionally and financially but I'm convinced that life is much happier when travelled with a companion... a friend... a confidant and a lover. Most of us are hoping to find a life partner and therefore should be willing to put such minimal time and effort into it. Sorry... but it's important to me.I have to wonder what some men are thinking when they post pictures of themselves holding up a dead fish. Do they honestly think that women find that attractive? A patio... or piano bar... a beverage and all the time in the world. We could discuss the psychology of internet dating.
