I am a stunt- I'm looking for a crime-fighting super hero who is a part time animal nutritionist by day and a volunteer referee of inner-city children's ultimate beer pong by night. I am an heir apparent to a hotel chain of subpar roadside rest stops. A good idea that just hasn't caught on yet. But when it does..... Seriously, I am an attractive 40-something women with a good job, great (almost grown) kids and nice house in the suburbs. I'm looking for a man with similar interests to share time with. While the whole height, weight, occupation, salary range, working hair follicles is negotiable, the fireworks are not. No sparks, no thank you. And while I could apologize for that bit of superficiality, I won't. Because that's just the way I roll. And, btw, I hate people who say "that's the way I roll". About the pics ***shows my face and the other was meant to show my body type. As I understand, many women lie about their weight on here (as men do about their height or hair or occupation). The second photo was just to show I do, in fact, have a thin body type. Please do not respond unless you are local, close in age, gainfully employed and looking for more than a quickie. While I chose "dating / nothing serious", that's where I think this should start. I'm not looking for marriage right now. Just companionship, good conversation and someone to go with me on the grand adventure that is this life - to do all the fun things this life has to offer. From there, who knows.

Hi, welcome to my profile. I'm looking for someone to spend time with that could lead to a long term relationship. I have one child who has only one year left in high school so it won't be long and the nest will be empty. I have a lot going on in my life but I feel like there is room for a little more. I want someone to share things with and do things with. I chose homebody as my personality trait because I love my home and feel very comfortable and happy there but that doesn't mean I don't ever leave. I love to travel and want to do more of it. I think it would be fabulous to have someone to do that with. Right now I manage to get a few trips in each year either with my child or with girlfriends but I have bigger ideas of where I would like to go that don't always fit in with friends plans. There's a pretty long list of places I want to go.About 5 years ago, I started my own business and it keeps me very busy. I love what I do most days and am very happy with that aspect of my life. It is physically challenging and keeps me in shape. I also like to run, bike, play volleyball and keep active. I live near the beach and love to spend time there. Summer is my favourite time of year. I like the heat. I like to read and watch movies to relax. But I don't seem to spend a lot of time relaxing these days. I have a cat which I never expected to grow so fond of. She has totally made me understand why people love their pets so much. I would have a dog if I had more time to take proper care of it but I tend to work too much and be too busy to meet the requirements of a good dog owner.I think I have a good sense of humour. I'm smart and kind and pretty easy going. I try hard to understand other people's circumstances and not jump to conclusions about their behaviour. I really value honesty and integrity. If I am dating you, I will not be dating anyone else. I do not want to be the kind of person who does that or cheats in any way. I expect the same in return. If that is not important to you or you don't think you can live up to that, then don't even waste my time. If you're not happy with our relationship, then talk to me and see if we can figure it out or end it. I once dated a guy who met someone else while I was away on a vacation. He told me when I returned and we ended our relationship on good terms. No tears, no drama. I totally respected and appreciated his honesty. I don't think it's too much to ask. I have experienced the opposite too and that is just a lousy way to treat a person. Nothing good comes from that and leaves everyone hurt and angry.I've been separated for over 5 years and have had a couple of relationships since then. I consider them all to be experiences to learn from and help me figure out what I really want. I want someone who will be supportive and make me feel good. I want to be able to do that for someone else too. Someone with similar values is very important to me as well. I have been vegetarian for over 2 years now but I don't expect that in a partner. I'm not preaching it to anyone else. I have just found that I like it and I feel better and it works for me. something simple like meeting for coffee although I don't drink it but you know what I mean. I'm not much of a drinker of alcohol either but could meet for one. I don't like bars in general for meeting someone though if it is too loud to talk. I don't think a first date should be a big commitment of time because I think you can get a sense of whether there is any chemistry fairly quickly.

Evidentially I must be kinda rare. I have a job and I don't do drugs. I like the simpler things in life. With the cooler fall days, a fire in the pit with some hot chocolate would be wonderful. I want to meet one man that has the same interest. When the day comes and I have to sit on my porch in my rocker I'd want to be sitting there with a man that I actually enjoy having a conversation with and I love his company! Pisces Worst Relationship MatchesAries: Too aggressive and harsh for your soft natureGemini: Too easily distracted and not sympathetic to your needsLeo: Easily led by them, but easily cast aside First date...go into it with a sense of humor, sense of adventure and no expectations, have fun and see where it leads!! The best first date would be filled with laughter!
