After having living in such different worlds, I've never lost the travel bug and am always up for either a spontaneous or planned trip.I have a teenage daughter who keeps me curious. It's amazing to rediscover the world through her eyes as she grows up. That curiosity drives me to read a lot about everything from the arts to different cultures to current events to social issues.What do I value in other people? Kindness coupled with a sense of humor, especially the ability to laugh at yourself, is a welcome trait. Being honest and kind with ourselves can help drive honest communication with others, it's also important when others value their health just as I do.What do I like to do besides travel? My sense of fun opens a big door to the world! At home, I enjoy yard work and attempting DIY home projects. I may not be great at those projects, but at least I'm not afraid to give them a try. I also love dancing - preferably with someone else. Though, I've been known to grab the cat for a spin in the living room if the music is good enough. And I must confess a guilty pleasure. I love apocalyptic sci-fi movies.I'm looking for a partner. Someone who has his own life and his own personality, yet is still open to the compromises that life brings.
