My friends would describe me as funny and quick with a response and likes to laugh a lot. My biggest accomplishment is being a mom. I love the beach! I am grateful for family and friends. I am hoping to meet someone with the same values asmyself.

I'm looking for someone to spend some time with. I don't smoke so if you do we don't match. I own a business that keeps me busy during the day and some evenings. My evenings are usually spent relaxing at home. Most times that's fine, but sometimes I do wish I had someone to share a meal with or go do something, ie movies, park, swim, ect...Then on some weekends I would enjoy having someone to hang with. I'm not looking for someone that hangs on me or hangs around all the time though. I do like me time. I don't have to have excitement all the time, but I could use a laugh or two. I like dancing, movies, nature...Only interested in dating in my ethnic group and must be at least average body size. This is for the guys that think I'm "sweet"!..(me)Fire and Ice in my blood.I can use power tools.Be a princess.Throw a right hook.Pack heat.Bake bread, biscuits and cakes.Fish with the boys.Love with passion. And if I have an opinion, you bet you're gonna hear it. Meet at a restrurant. See how things go.

Hi, welcome to my profile. I'm looking for someone to spend time with that could lead to a long term relationship. I have one child who has only one year left in high school so it won't be long and the nest will be empty. I have a lot going on in my life but I feel like there is room for a little more. I want someone to share things with and do things with. I chose homebody as my personality trait because I love my home and feel very comfortable and happy there but that doesn't mean I don't ever leave. I love to travel and want to do more of it. I think it would be fabulous to have someone to do that with. Right now I manage to get a few trips in each year either with my child or with girlfriends but I have bigger ideas of where I would like to go that don't always fit in with friends plans. There's a pretty long list of places I want to go.About 5 years ago, I started my own business and it keeps me very busy. I love what I do most days and am very happy with that aspect of my life. It is physically challenging and keeps me in shape. I also like to run, bike, play volleyball and keep active. I live near the beach and love to spend time there. Summer is my favourite time of year. I like the heat. I like to read and watch movies to relax. But I don't seem to spend a lot of time relaxing these days. I have a cat which I never expected to grow so fond of. She has totally made me understand why people love their pets so much. I would have a dog if I had more time to take proper care of it but I tend to work too much and be too busy to meet the requirements of a good dog owner.I think I have a good sense of humour. I'm smart and kind and pretty easy going. I try hard to understand other people's circumstances and not jump to conclusions about their behaviour. I really value honesty and integrity. If I am dating you, I will not be dating anyone else. I do not want to be the kind of person who does that or cheats in any way. I expect the same in return. If that is not important to you or you don't think you can live up to that, then don't even waste my time. If you're not happy with our relationship, then talk to me and see if we can figure it out or end it. I once dated a guy who met someone else while I was away on a vacation. He told me when I returned and we ended our relationship on good terms. No tears, no drama. I totally respected and appreciated his honesty. I don't think it's too much to ask. I have experienced the opposite too and that is just a lousy way to treat a person. Nothing good comes from that and leaves everyone hurt and angry.I've been separated for over 5 years and have had a couple of relationships since then. I consider them all to be experiences to learn from and help me figure out what I really want. I want someone who will be supportive and make me feel good. I want to be able to do that for someone else too. Someone with similar values is very important to me as well. I have been vegetarian for over 2 years now but I don't expect that in a partner. I'm not preaching it to anyone else. I have just found that I like it and I feel better and it works for me. something simple like meeting for coffee although I don't drink it but you know what I mean. I'm not much of a drinker of alcohol either but could meet for one. I don't like bars in general for meeting someone though if it is too loud to talk. I don't think a first date should be a big commitment of time because I think you can get a sense of whether there is any chemistry fairly quickly.
