About Me

To start off I have been permanetly separated since june ***. It is not bitter so until I have a reason to file papers that will end up leaving him with out health insurance (new priority in my life) i will stay seperated. I do work a lot. In fact I would not consider leaving my job for at least another 8 years. I wear a hard hat and steal toed shoes at work yet i love to wear 3 to 5 inch heals when i go out. If i can get away with it i will dance barefoot when going out dancing. As far as music, one of my sayings is that I like a little bit of every type of music yet not everything of any kind of music. Good conversation is a must, In general there are not many activities that I cant find something about it that I like. To learn or experience something new is a good thing. I have no fears other than those of common sense. (Sticking your hand in a lions mouth qualifies.) I like doing things together, cook, construction, woodworking, gardening, road trips, dancing a definite bonus. I don’t mind going to social events with friends by myself. I am a very independent, but I prefer a ***relationship. I am looking for that special person. I will not settle for a companion that is a best friend or a pet. I am hoping to fall in love. And all that goes with it. It’s a shame when your partner can be gone for a couple of days and you don’t even think to call them let a lone not call. I want to miss you. I do like animals, this is the first time I have not had some kind of pet. Oh coffee a must for me. Not starbucks just plain black coffee. Dont know what word I will choose to describe me as they are all too confined, so dont read too much into it. Night owl Do work 3rd currently Preferably where you can feel comfortable to talk as if we have known each other for years. You may prefer walking in a park, Dinner, or perhaps over a drink. Maybe coffee at a reasturant is what allows you to feel more at ease to be you. I prefer to get to know who you are in a way that feels very natural, not 20 questions.

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

I beginning to think every man on this site is full of it! LolNot much of a story really, last relationship was almost 10 years. I have 2 grown children & 1 beautiful Granddaughter who is my world! I work full time! I love my motorcycle & love to ride! I love country music, dancing, fishing, walks in the rain & seafood! Looking for some one Real & something Real! I don't play games & am honest to a fault, far from perfect but wake up silly & happy every morning! FYI - my pictures are very recent & I think you should, if your serious in contacting me have the common decency of using a recent picture on your profile! It can prevent me from saying things I would normally not say!! I am flattered by all the views but if your old enough to be my Grandpa or even my Dad, I'm really not interested! I'm usually up for just about anything as long as it doesn't involve Spiders! LOL

Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56

I am a healthy and happy woman with great enthusiasm for life and a deep capacity for love and generosity. I’d describe myself as intelligent, passionate, creative, authentic, and feisty. I have a sassy sense of humor and an adventurous streak. I love learning and am endlessly inquisitive. I am inspired by people who do things--in small and big ways--to make the world a better place. I have woven these passions together to start my own business. While my work brings me much joy, I am happiest when I balance that with relaxation, fun, and meaningful relationships. Health is important. I prefer playing sports to watching them. (Tackle football, anyone?) I have a strong artistic side and enjoy painting and creative writing. I'm looking for a long-term relationship with a man who is easy-going, open-minded, curious, and most of all, happy. I’d like to find someone who values intelligence, motivation, and creativity, and who enjoys life’s simple pleasures. Someone who takes delight in a storm, in fall, and other natural beauty. Someone who values sharing everyday home by cooking, working in the yard, or just watching a movie together. I offer loyalty, affection, support, communication, and the space you need to pursue individual interests. I hope for the same from my partner. A good first date is relaxed and an opportunity to talk and hopefully laugh. It could be meeting for coffee or dinner, a picnic, a walk somewhere nice, or something else to spark conversation. Nothing fancy or expensive (and I don't expect you to pay in any case). If it's nice out, then let's meet outdoors. No matter what we do, let's just be ourselves.

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

What am I looking for? Being active together physically, mentally, and emotionally. So I hope we could find some sports or activities that we could do together which could include but not exclusive to team sports like volleyball, doubles badminton, or hiking, biking, swimming ( I love being in water - snorkelling), dancing (fast or slow), orienteering, canoeing, snowshoeing, x- I think it's fun to share ideas or opinions while having a conversation after reading (an article from the Saturday paper, a book, or a magazine), or seeing a film, a play, a good tv show (like Orange is the New Black, The Newsroom, Mad Men, Downton Abbey, Nurse Jackie) and discussing or using problem-solving strategies when planning to entertain, cooking, travelling, playing games, solving puzzles or quests together. These kind of activities could keep our minds sharp, and also help us develop the kind of emotional bond necessary to be together as a team. Also I love eating and cooking together, it involves many senses. What are simple pleasures for me?........Sometimes, it can be as simple as going on a hike or a bike ride next to the canal, or shopping at a farmers' market, and later creating a beautiful meal that we share together or with others, or having a cup of good coffee or a glass of wine at a bistro while sharing our observations on human behaviour...-packed with activities...I love walking in neighbourhoods in new cities, or seeing shows (especially theatre, comedy shows, intimate venue or outdoor concerts), doing a historical walking food tour, or sleeping away from home, dressing up for dinner, having a drink at a bar with my buddy next to my side, or maybe going snowshoeing by the light of the moon, or once I know someone well, maybe skinny dipping at night. I like to be active both physically and intellectually so I enjoy playing many sports or games, chatting, and/or seeing entertainment, and I do enjoy culinary adventures either out or at home. Below is a list of suggestions for activities and I would be open to other ideas. Go for a coffee at bridgehead roastery or Art is In Bakery, or meet and have some Pho or Bun.--7:30), later cross the street see the show, and after decide if it's time to walk back to Arboretum or have a beverage at Moon Room or the Big Easy (probably depends on the schedule the next day and if we click as "friends"). A variation of the last suggestion could include meeting, and previously planning a biking route which brings us to one of the new food trucks in town (I do like to have fun and new adventures, and sometimes I need gentle reminders that "less" is "more"). Just a few ideas!
