I would describe myself as the girl next door. I am a single mom of a 17 year old boy, who is my life, but I'm feeling like I need some me time. I am looking for someone who believes that too. Family is very important to me, and it must be to you too. I think we all have a soulmate out of there - I'm looking to find mine. I have no problem watching football on Sundays or Monday night -- baseball games are great too. I'm not totally into basketball, but could be persuaded if that's what you like. I am shy at first, but warm up quickly around friends. My friends say that I have a good sense of humor, sometimes a dry wit and that I'm a loyal friend. I believe that men should not be afraid to show their emotions. It's okay to shed tears when you're happy or sad, hold hands in public and let woman drive sometimes. You must be compassionate and caring and put your family first. I'm not looking for a dad for my son, but a good role model. I believe in strong women, but love it when a man opens the door for you, pulls your chair out, or walks on the street side of the sidewalk to protect you. I truly believe that you need to be friends first, so we should take the relationship slow at first. It's important to get to know each other. I am not into playing games, life is too short. A first date should be easy going and relaxing. How about some coffee or a drink to get to know each other. Maybe a walk in the park or a stroll on the beach? Better yet, I think you should surprise me.
