I would describe myself as the girl next door. I am a single mom of a 17 year old boy, who is my life, but I'm feeling like I need some me time. I believe in the following... family, friends, health, integrity, and work. Understand their meanings and you'll find balance in your life. I believe the best quality of a person is characterized by how they treat others. My parents *** me not to judge people by what they look like, but how they treat you and others. I am looking for someone who believes that too. Family is very important to me, and it must be to you too. I think we all have a soulmate out of there - I'm looking to find mine. I am happy with who I am, and whether I find someone or not, I know that I will remain happy. I don't need a man to be complete - I would like a partner, a best friend, and a confidant. I believe in partnership and I will always have your back. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, outdoors, camping, fishing, walking...and spending time with my family. Somedays I am very happy just kicking back at home, relaxing, reading, spending time with you or watching a game on TV. I love sports! I have no problem watching football on Sundays or Monday night -- baseball games are great too. I'm not totally into basketball, but could be persuaded if that's what you like. I am shy at first, but warm up quickly around friends. My friends say that I have a good sense of humor, sometimes a dry wit and that I'm a loyal friend. I believe that men should not be afraid to show their emotions. It's okay to shed tears when you're happy or sad, hold hands in public and let woman drive sometimes. You must be compassionate and caring and put your family first. I'm not looking for a dad for my son, but a good role model. I believe in strong women, but love it when a man opens the door for you, pulls your chair out, or walks on the street side of the sidewalk to protect you. I truly believe that you need to be friends first, so we should take the relationship slow at first. It's important to get to know each other. I am not into playing games, life is too short. A first date should be easy going and relaxing. How about some coffee or a drink to get to know each other. Maybe a walk in the park or a stroll on the beach? Better yet, I think you should surprise me.

    I am looking to get out of the routine of everyday life and have some fun. Next Saturday there is a concert I have tickets to, Friday evenings I would love to play some golf but would like to play with someone who could improve my game. Monday night there is an Italian wine/food pairing/tasting that would be educational and delicious at the same time. Saturday am is usually yoga for me, after we could do brunch, before the rest of day gets away from us. Sunday morning...Banana Pancakes? Sunday evenings there are twostep classes at the local country bar that may be fun to try. Or just do nothing but hangout and relax and enjoy each others company. Anyway, my life has changed so much over the past couple of years, it's a good thing. First college was for marketing and economics, second one was to become a classically trained chef, all previous lives, now I work in manufacturing in the hr and finance depts... a lot... ***hours a week. So when I do have free time, I don't skimp out. I work hard for the ability to enjoy the finest things this world has to offer. Just bought myself a ***little red sporty 2 door and it's paid for it's mine and not the banks. I do like to travel but don't have the luxury of more than a week on a long Holiday weekend right now... I love to explore and experience different cultures, always a learning experience. I am looking for a good hearted man, honest, truthful, trustworthy, and someone intellectually stimulating. I am mentally, emotionally, and financially stable, I pretty much require that from someone else. Also I have killer allergies to cats and dogs... so if you are really attached to your animals and can't think about living without them... then I am not the one for you.And last but not least, if you are still married, please be true to your commitment, have no desire to be the other woman.
