Welcome to my new and improved profile. I am revamping because I sounded sarcastic and jaded... This is my effort to make myself sound more appealing to the men I may actually want to meet.First and foremost, I'm a mom. I have two teenagers who are my entire life. Hi,!!!I usually enjoy writing, but this has proven to be quite difficult. having to write about yourself, to catch the attention of the reader, is harder than it seems. I am honest, fun loving, determined, passionate type of person. I tend to go with the flow of things. I have hiked mountains, swam with dolphins, and sting rays. I have been in a hot air balloon. I like the ocean,swimming , bicycling. I do watch sports, football, hockey, and baseball. I enjoy cooking,like most wines, love italian food. and would like to accomplish having a vegetable garden. ( haven't had much luck) I enjoy life's simple pleasures, coffee on my deck at the end of the day to watch the sunset, priceless.I would like to meet an honest, reliable, trustworthy man, that i can depend on. someone that works hard, but also can enjoy fun times, whether it be doing something adventurous, or just relaxing, watching a movie together. I would like for this man to treat me like a lady, and be respectful. mind you though, i am quite capable of doing things for myself. i would like someone that can make me smile, or laugh. ( even at myself, that comes easily.) and just be able to enjoy the moment. first dates are difficult, I think, as long as your having a good conversation, a good time, and enjoying the company that your with, your having a good first date, no matter where it would be.

I am an easy going lady and it does not take much for me to be amused. I love life and wish there were 25 hours in a day and that I had the energy to make use of all of them. I am one of those creative people but don't walk around oblivious to what is around me. I am more a morning person than a dance the night away kind but enjoy that kind of evening every now and then too. I am fun to be with, have lived and learned a lot and try not to make the same mistakes twice. But if I do, i don't beat myself up about it. I appreciate the finer things in life but know that they are not the things that really make people happy. I believe that people are inherently good but that what worked five years ago may not apply today or ten years from now. "They" say that all of the good ones are already taken but I think it is just that means that us fishes out there haven't found yet who we are compatible with. Besides I doubt that most of us think that we are not one of the good ones. I am a free thinker and don't dwell on what I cannot change. I day dream and enjoy it; because if we have no dreams then how could they ever come true?I love waking up to see what each day will bring and believe that there is something to learn from every experience. I'd like to find someone who is intelligent, sharp and enjoys good conversation and does not take life too seriously. Romance and passion should be an important part of life and I have been too practical for too many years. It is over rated and not usually a recipe for success. I follow my intuition and know that I am not always right and don't want to be. I like being in the company of people who are brighter or know about things that I don't and are disposed to enlighten me. I am open minded and tend to be more compatible with people who have the courage of their convictions, are a bit edgy...even if it just in private, and truly care about doing right by people because they wouldn't have it any other way. Ideally we could meet for a drink and if we hit it off, then dinner. If that goes well, hey we could try it again and you never know...For me it is more the ambiance and mood more than the food. I don't like crowds or noisy places. I think I prefer second dates because then you already know that you find each other pleasing enough to want to explore it further.
