A little about me...I'm 47, educated, and self employed, with two beautiful grown daughters that are out of the house. I'm very easy to get along with, very laid back and hate to argue!! I'm a simple girl who enjoys simple things, i.e. working out with my partner, cooking with somebody, etc. I'm extremely attracted to tall successful black men and go crazy for a nice tight body and a pretty smile, but only the pretty smile is a MUST!I'm not interested in dating anyone who has children younger than teenagers. I think it's great if you are involved with your kids i just don't want someone who can only see me every other weekend. I have a lot of time on my hands now that my children are grown and would love to now focus my attention on a special man. I was brought up in a very traditional home and believe very strongly in love that lasts a lifetime. My parents have been married for 57 years!!I'm looking for a man that is sweet, sexy, caring and affectionate. While I do enjoy getting dressed up to go to dinner or a movie occasionally with a special man, I enjoy staying home with somebody just as much! I'm not interested in male "friends", as I don't do the "friends with benefits" thing. I'm hoping for something real.I need a man that is mature and serious but that does enjoy laughing every once in awhile. If you are goofy or corny, we will not be a match! I know you're out there and I'll wait patiently. But hurry up! ;-) It's the company that's important, the venue doesn't matter.

I'm new to this adventure. I'm not proud of my divorce, but I fiinally realized that life is too short to waste time on something that was never going to change...no matter how hard I tried. A zebra never loses its stripes. So...here I am...ready to tackle the world again, so to speak. There's so much more to me than what I can compose in this space. I could write a book about my life.....but I can't cough up the good stuff here. I'm not a boastful person, but I'm supposed to sell myself right here in this space! I can come up with all sorts of creative marketing ideas to promote any product, but I can't stand marketing myself. It's just not me. But that's not to say I'm not a confident woman...I'm very independent and extremely confident, and at my age, I find myself not so much "needing" a man in my life but definitely desiring the companionship. Please note: I may come off a little reserved at first, but be warned that I have a wicked sense of humor and speak sarcasm fluently! One last thing, I think it's important for the right guy to be secure and confident in himself. If you've found contentment and completeness within yourself, then you're capable of fostering a solid relationship. If you're still looking for your "other half" or someone to "complete you," then you're not there yet. Something casual and low key.
