We don't reach this age without life experience. Along with life experience comes baggage. Its how a person handles their "baggage" that will set them apart from the others.. The never ending questions: Did you learn from your mistakes? Did you grow from them and become a better person? Or are you bitter, and stereo type the last person with the current one.I am a better person, I have learned and grown as I have aged... The bummer part is now I'm older and on a single site. Never did I think I would be 46 and on a dating website. I wish I was younger and have the knowledge I have obtained throughout the years. Well I love animals, I have quite a few barnyard critters of whom I call family. We have all been together for a long time. I have horses and used to compete in AERC rides. It holds my heart. I love to fish, am a first year hunter I'm more of "oh its hurt lets fix it" person, however with the price of food my thoughts are changing to, "nummy here's dinner". I love guns and was learning to reload. Still want to learn more of that. I love working on my place. Its home and feels good to get out there and mow, cut wood, and fix fence etc. Anyone who has a house with property knows its a never ending chore. I love to laugh, tease, giggle and have fun. Love going to the movies, a nice restaurant on occasion and just having a good time. Fun doesn't require a ton of money. It does require a light heart, spontaneous attitude, and finding things to do that don't cost a fortune. However, I like to eat well, don't eat much of any fast food. I'm not a hard keeper or pricey kind of gal, more of a t-shirt and jeans person, but I do have that little black dress that has been itchen to be worn.I like cooking: I'm not great but its healthy, LOVE TO GARDEN, again not a master but it turned out pretty good this year.I'm looking for a man. A man who loves God and has values, integrity and morals. Kind, witty, gentle natured, out doors rugged type. A bit of a "man's man" but made for THIS woman. A man who takes care of himself, but is not conceded or arrogant. . A man who is a conservative. One who is honest. One who will communicate and share his thoughts and feelings both good and bad. And one who will make my heart jump when I see him. I have an easy-going personality and tend to be more quiet as opposed to loud and boisterous, though I do consider myself a fun girl. I have no problems talking with people, as my job requires it. If we're playing a game, I tend to become more competitive. Then my bratty, mischievous self comes out to play. Muahahaha!!! >=) The games I like playing are: Boggle, Apples to Apples, Pictionary, the Bowl Game (which I would gladly introduce at a gathering of friends...it's too much fun) and others which we can talk about or discover later. ;) I tend to like fast paced games as opposed to ones where it feels like I'm waiting forever for my turn. If it gets people laughing, all the better. Life is about having fun, laughing and being around those who build you up and are a positive vibration in your life. I love to laugh, tease and joke, but not at another's expense. Somethings just aren't really funny. I like to actively live this life I was given and not just sit around all the time watching it pass by. I like being playful and young at heart. If I'm watching tv or a movie, I prefer watching things that will either make me think or laugh. I like watching documentaries too. Never thought I'd say that in my younger days. ;) But I like watching things that get me deep in thought.In the summer, I am always wanting to hang out by the water and, in fact, is where I can be found on my days off unless I'm having to run errands. I also enjoy working in the garden and spending time with friends, new and old, BBQing, fishing and a host of things which we can discuss if we spend time getting acquainted. I'm not into prejudism...although I am extremely prejudiced against prejudiced people. Hmmm...does that mean I'm prejudiced against myself? *laughs*, etc. Live and let live.I like to keep the child inside me alive. I like to play. I like to be bratty/mischievous sometimes, and a little goofy/off the wall because I think it's fun. I look young for my age and I like to workout and take care of myself. It seems like others my age keep reminding me that we're getting old. I just tell them to speak for themselves and leave me out of it. ;)I still love swinging on the swings and can out-swing any kid out there. Most kids get tired of swinging before I do anyway. ;) I'm also talented in synchronized swinging. *laughs* I love to go fishing, camping, basking in the sun in the summer, frisbee, walks along the river or wherever. I also enjoy things with an artsy flair: art walks, dance performances, theater, etc. though I haven't been in ages.I am still raising a child, so if you don't like children or lack patience, please pass me by. I'm also a grandma, so liking children is a must anyway. I'm not into spanking and chose to discipline with respect and dignity. This is how we raise our children to have empathy and to have enough self-respect to be respectful of others. Children also keep us young and remind us to have fun. YOU: Don't think of yourself as "old," feel youthful, like to have fun and joke around, respectful, loyal, trustworthy, grounded and yet has a bit of a wild side, playful, you tend to go more by the "live and let live" motto, you have the ability to trust a trustworthy mate, slow to anger, enjoys life and likes to be active, you like who you are and you respect yourself. While you may be a social drinker, you are not a lone drinker, practicing alcoholic or somebody who has to have alcohol be a main feature in their life. Control freaks need not apply. ;)DISCLAIMER:I'm not looking to jump into anything with both feet right now. I'm basically just putting myself out there before even worrying about what else may come. I believe the friendship should always come first in a relationship, and that's hard to do when you haven't spend adequate time building a friendship. We shouldn't be finding out if we have what it takes to be friends by jumping into an intimate relationship. That just doesn't make sense, fun as it might seem at first. ;) So, I'd like to start with mail and let it progress to a meetup. If you know of any singles group meets, let me know, I'm so there! If this interests you, send me a mail and tell me what interested you enough to mail me and tell me more about yourself.Not into phonesex, netsex, sexting, one night stands or friends with benefits. I prefer to meet people for the first time in a public setting. Our first meet-up should be short and sweet. Long enough for us to know if we'd like to meetup again. Like I said, I'm not really looking to jump in with both feet. I've tried the fast and furious and it just doesn't work.
