I'm new to this adventure. I'm not proud of my divorce, but I fiinally realized that life is too short to waste time on something that was never going to change...no matter how hard I tried. A zebra never loses its stripes. So...here I am...ready to tackle the world again, so to speak. There's so much more to me than what I can compose in this space. I could write a book about my life.....but I can't cough up the good stuff here. I'm not a boastful person, but I'm supposed to sell myself right here in this space! I can come up with all sorts of creative marketing ideas to promote any product, but I can't stand marketing myself. It's just not me. But that's not to say I'm not a confident woman...I'm very independent and extremely confident, and at my age, I find myself not so much "needing" a man in my life but definitely desiring the companionship.Please note: I may come off a little reserved at first, but be warned that I have a wicked sense of humor and speak sarcasm fluently! One last thing, I think it's important for the right guy to be secure and confident in himself. If you've found contentment and completeness within yourself, then you're capable of fostering a solid relationship. If you're still looking for your "other half" or someone to "complete you," then you're not there yet. Something casual and low key.

This is what I would like for a man to say to me someday, and I truly mean it... "This is the last, worthless evening, that you'll have to spend". I'm kind, hard-working, funny, very trustworthy, and a bit "Type A". I hate drama as I've had enough in past relationships and have resigned to run at the first sign of it! I enjoy going out and like to have a drink or two. My parent's have been married for 57 years which taught me the values of being loyal and faithful. I'm told I do not look my age. Each decade it's getting more challenging but at least I keep up the good fight! I teach different types of group fitness/aerobic classes throughout the week which helps me to stay in pretty good shape. I'm a great conversationalist so if you don't like to talk, pass me by. I'm full of energy and like to be with a man that is as well. I'm one of those people that if you take me to a party where I know no one, I will leave knowing most everyone...and I would like to think they were glad they met me! I get along very well with men and women and have many friends. I like most all people and the diversity that comes with.I worked for a non-profit organization for 17 years which taught me to be a very charitable person. I believe in giving back to the community. "Giving back" does the mind, spirit and body good!I would like to meet a man that is handsome, intelligent, successful, caring, funny, AND enjoys being active. But, I don't need the six-pack kind of guy anymore because then it's expected of me too! I would prefer someone that is college educated but that's just a preference. I understand that not everyone wants to go to college or had the opportunity to go. I had no choice! A good sense-of-humor is key! I love to laugh, make people laugh, and hear laughter. I'm a giving, affectionate person. I'm a lover, not a fighter. ;) I want that in return. I'm not on this site for a "hook up!" I'm way past that stage in my life. If you are, they have other "fishy" sites for that but be careful as you might get bit by a shark! :)PS - Everyone has their "thing!" My "thing" is teeth. So, if you are missing a few, or they are less than "bright" I don't think it would work between us!
