Life is too short however, and we all desire that special someone in our lives. Many NEW adventures and experiences have entered my life in the past 8 months. I am both grateful and blessed......but ready to experience them with someone special.I am an independent woman, who seeks a companion ***with similar interests. Nine months out of the year you will find me in an elementary classroom teaching (sixth grade this year)....and during the summer months I get geared-up to play!!!I enjoy most outdoor activities, especially the ones that involve water. During my time- Photography is one of my passions, so during my travels I *** and fitness have taken a major role in my life this past year and a half. Strength training at the gym, and running have taken precedence in my daily life. I love what it has done to my overall health, and seek someone who also is health conscious. When back home, I have a green thumb so I enjoy taking care of my garden. When it is time to relax, you can usually find me playing in the waves or dancing on the sand...I love the beach!!! Meeting friends for dinner, drinks, a movie, and dancing always adds flavor to my week. I seek a gentleman, who knows how to treat a lady with genuine respect. WARNING: I make no apologies for who I am and where I am in life. Drama and alcohol ahead.If you're perfect, lived a perfect life, a perfectionist, or expect perfection..... Want to call me 'Hun' , 'Honey', 'Sweetie', or 'Dear'.....I'm not the girl for you.The past 18 months have been a roller coaster for me. Divorce from hell this past year. Trying to start over after 18 years of marriage. Spent a year drinking myself goofy, (thank God I never tried drugs ha!), spent 76 days in jail ( yes...real jail!) pondering life , meditating, praying, talking to God, wondering wether to take anti-depressants or not (decided 'no'), running a business on one brain cell and a single fragile emotional thread. Oh ... and watching a lot of documentaries, dark drama and historical fiction on NetFlix cuddled up with my dog. How the hell does one 'start over' at our age?I worked in the medical field for 12 years, radiation physics and dosimetry. In my second life, I owned and operated a CrossFit gym from ***until last month. Getting ready for my third life... currently preparing for law school....studying for the LSAT. Hope to obtain a dual degree in law and social work. I'm not going to lie...physical attraction is very important to me. I want to feel crazy about the person I am with. I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now. I'm not marriage minded...looking for a friend that can also stimulate me intellectually, who doesn't mind a girl a tad on the eccentric side. I'm an optimist and a huge fan of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself, we probably won't get along.It is my perspective that "things" and "events" in life are neither 'good' nor 'bad'...they just 'are' and that is the fiber that makes up the fabric we call 'life'.
