My son is a senior at UT-0 student in the honors engineering program. My daughter is a freshman in college which means that my nest is about empty! I am ready to enter that new chapter in my life. I feel that life experiences are that much more fulfilling when shared with the one you love. What I am looking for is pretty simple, really. I want to find someone who shares similar core values, who is also looking for that someone special to share the rest of their lives with. I'm not a serial dater; I have no need to validate or affirm myself through this. I've never been a one-nighter woman (sorry to disappoint you), and have always preferred long-term relationships. Mutual respect, love, attentiveness, kindness and patience mixed with a large dose of chemistry and passion are the building blocks of a sound, long-lasting, and mutually beautiful, rewarding relationship. Finding that special someone is difficult, but when do, I'm totally committed to making it work. I'm huge on open communication, honesty, and trust. First and foremost is working out.-6 days a week and lift weights at the gym at least 4 days a week. It would be great to meet someone who actually has a workout routine and enjoys it. She is a rescue dog. I enjoy summer evenings hanging out on a patio, enjoying a glass of wine with friends and great music. I can golf, but it's not exactly my favorite thing in the world. I enjoy travel and long walks on the beach. We're all a bit wiser for our experience, and have found the inner-peace that comes with accepting ourselves.     I have been divorced for over a year. I've made my peace with things and ready to move on to wonderful things. I am ready to get back to enjoying life. I have a wonderful job and two terrific children. My life is great, but I would enjoy having someone around to enjoy it all with. I would just like a date for the movies, to hang out with on the couch in the evenings, to go places with. That kind of thing. I enjoyed being married, but I am certainly not interested in rushing into that at this point in my life. I think I am a lot of fun to be with. I enjoy talking and sometimes just being goofy with someone. I love a person with a great sense of humor and who gets my crazy, sarcastic sense of humor as well. Oh, and if you are wanting something "naughty", try someone else. It's really kind of tough to talk about a first date without knowing the person a little better first. I can be pretty stereotypical and say a nice dinner or lunch with a lot of conversation.
