About Me

I enjoy a great conversation, laughing, share ideas....walks, mountain biking, hiking, camping, canoeing, dancing, renting a condo on the beach and just sitting in the sun reading a book, or taking a trip into the mountains to sit on the top, breathing in deep, taking in smells, and socking in the scenery.I have been teaching middle school math since ***, yes I really do love it, math and middle school... My first career was in drafting and design. I am very goal oriented and self motivated, but find that I have become much more flexible and just simply go with the flow. I love a great looking yard and a clean house.I grew up in a military family and I love to travel, hoping that I get to have the opportunity to do more of it in the future. Concert, musicals, improvs, theatre play, a wine tasting, local bar with band performance or spending time with family and friends...I am sure to be doing something. I love a card game, well any games, darts have become one of my favorites.I enjoy a wide verity of music, but if you were to stop by my house you would catch me playing;....I spend very little time watching TV, but I can't help but trying to sit down and watch Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother...Movies for me, well I like them all if the plot has meaning. I did find Jack Reacher funny. Recently I have taken up watching football, thanks to a friend of mine. I went to watch a few of my students play and was helping my friend with the score board, which made me think about how I could use it in my classroom. I do prefer a college game the most.Books...Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which I also liked the movie, it stayed true to the book. In the past, John Grisham books and similar books. Child 44, that was a great one.I guess that leaves me with food, Mexican and Italian...with a good bottle of red wine. I suppose we could all spend more time writing, but that would leave you with no questions to ask and no conversation to have. I do have to say up front that I am NOT a country girl, so no big ranches, horse, cows....in my future. However I love to be outside hiking or on a trail on my bike (which is a new adventure for me). I am scared of heights, but it didn't stop me from taking my son zip lining. I am a city girl and enjoy what the city has to offer day and night. I can put on my hiking shoes for the day...turn around and get dressed up for the evening. About the only country in me is when I get a chance to find someone to dance with me.Thanks for the good times we just shared here...may there be more. Oh, and if you like to cook, I have no problem sharing the kitchen, I find it to be a great place to spend some time together. If you like to travel, maybe you will meet me in the middle and find out if we are worth the distance.Have to go, someone is pulling on the line....good luck fishing Talk over a drink and maybe a second date dinner and...theatre play, live comedy, live music at a local restaurant or bar.

    ..fun, funny, spontaneous, cute...has a job...I am the same. I'm not a cling on. I live in a clean house and I like to cook tasty meals. I'm not into crazy strenuous sports, but will laugh through pathetic attempts at so many other physical activities...LOL!I have a great sense of humor and need to be with someone who will laugh with me, say funny and cute things...I do all the time...if your idea of funny is "little Johnny" jokes(jokes that are just dirty and not funny, that make disrespectful men laugh and women cringe) your not my type..but if it's funny, nothing is off the table : ). Not into the "biker" lifestyle, either, and don't mean to sound racist, but just have never been attracted to black men...even cute ones...sorry.I have to be with an honest, sincere man. I am not interested in boring, broke, players, liars or" even fibbers, or someone that doesn't care about his own, or my, family. If your picture is with you surrounded by a bunch of young slutty type of gals, your not impressing me either. If you can't crack a smile for your picture or can't take your sunglasses off I can't see your smile or your eyes...the two things that may make me look at your profile...just sayin...and if your holding a big fish, or have more pictures of your dog than you, we'll...I'm not looking to be your fishing buddy or fall in love with your dog, k?I don't care about smoking, 420, and am not going to try to change who you are...I care more about the chemistry than the habits.I like cats more than dogs, but understand that they are animals...and they have their place...I currently do not have any animals, but when I buy a house, I will have a cat...not 10 cats...just one :) and possibly a dog if I have a big enough yard...if you sleep with your dog, or allow your dog on the couch, your not my type. I figure if you've taken the time to train your dog to be a respectful house member, you probably are neat and considerate of others.I am organized, but not "sleeping with the Enemy" organized...just normal and will appreciate the same qualities in a man.Not really into long haired men or more facial hair than a goatee or a mustache. Guys with bald or shaved heads are ok If you 'rock it' handsomely and have the smile, eyes, or personality that fits it. Half bald & not shaved is not cool...just FYI...LOL!I would be more interested in a slim or average built man that does not look like he's 7 months pregnant! (I guess old lookin, fat men can't read, cuz I'm getting a lot of responses from them...LOL).not into the fatty, no neck, body builder types, either..no gel spiked 80's hairstyles or a man that uses more hair products than me...LOL! I'm Looking for a young looking and acting man...I am a young looking and acting woman....naturally 'worn' is beautiful...not 'rode hard & put away wet'...Yikes!!; or taller would be nice) but, again, if you're personality and sense of humor makes me melt...I'll get over that!I like to watch movies on Netflix...mostly comedies, and would NOT watch endless hours of American idol and the like.....loved Breaking Bad!I'm a classic Rock fan and like to play it loud, love Jimmy Buffet, and like some country and some new Rock...fun to dance to, or music that makes a crowd get off its feet. I'm that good looking gal stopped at the red light next to you, jamming to loud music and moving my body to the beat.I can still rock a bikini...but am not a 10...not below 5, for sure...
